The home record stands at 5-16. the only team to make the playoffs with a losing home record in a full season was the 2001 Atlanta Braves at 40-41.

We need to go 36-24 at home for the rest of the year to finish with a winning record. A .600 winning percentage.

Something to keep in mind.

Hard to see this team making the post-season. And I really can't see them going 36 & 24 the rest of the way at home. Not with AJ and Peralta down. Not with Goldy's epic funk and the dramatic inconsistencies of Lamb, Tomas, Owings, Hermann/Castillo...

It's painful and what's worse is I really don't see much frustration from this team, or the head coach. I'm all for keeping emotions in check and all, but at this stage, I think it's totally appropriate to see someone blow-up a Gatorade cooler, or get into a fight with an opposing player... Something... Anything to change up the mojo...

Well, we're currently on pace to win 51 road games, so, when was the last time a team won 50 road games and missed the playoffs? I gotta think that one is rare! :p

But yeah, the pitchers need to get over it. IMO it is in their heads but we've had 5 Cy Young awards by guys in this park and several more seasons of guys finishing in the top 5.

We're just lucky that no one is playing particularly well in the division.

Something else to keep in mind, D. Hall reminded the radio guys yesterday the 2011 Dbacks were 17-23 on May 16th. Just saying.
