BUMP!!!!!

I'm currently looking to have the look I will try to include in a picture attachment. So far I have found Martin Logan SLM and Klipsch G28. Anyone have any experience with either? My Google skills aren't finding any reviews except a 6.7 out of 10 for the Klipsch on Sound and Vision.

Also, I must say, these speakers are at the upper end of what I am willing to spend. Links here if they help:

Thanks.

I do have some experience with ML and Klipsch. Martin Logan is considered more a 'musical speaker' meaning that it will serve you well if your main purpose is to listen to music.

I do not like the Klipsch brand and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

You can find many good deals looking for Internet Direct brands that will give you the upper end quality without going over your budget.

Consider the brands SVS, Axiom, eD, Hsu Research, and Salk Sound.

I've only heard the electrostats from ML. They were amazing in sound and price. I've never heard the ones mentioned above.

I like DCR's rec's and would add Mangnepans to the list.

Regarding soundbars, keep in mind that they are best suited for rectangular oriented rooms as they utilize the side walls reflections to "fool" your ears into hearing surround.

Speakers are kind of like shoes, only you can tell which fit you best. If at all possible, audition the speakers in person. Try and find a dealer who will let you try them out in your home for a small fee if you don't like them and can return if necessary. This sounds like a pain, but good speakers can last a lifetime.
