When given time in the red zone, Kyler threw an awful int that changed the game. Ball placement on passes often is used to take WRs away from contact and yet Kyler threw some murder balls up there.

It is not always going to be style points but Kyler has not shown the ability to rise up when things get tough outside of one nice hail mary.

you just gave him credit for doing exactly that, rising up at the end of the Eagles game after a rough second half.

that said, it needs to happen more and definitely against the JV team’s JV team of the Niners yesterday.

Kyler is an amazing runner, but meh to bad as a pocket QB when things get physical. Dolphins game about the only time where he really stepped up his game and the team let him down.

could also say the same about Buffalo... even before the Hail Murray. We were down 23-9 in the second half of that game and Murray went nuts and had us up with two minutes left and then the D just completely collapsed giving up a TD drive in like 75 seconds before the Hail Mary.

There are times no doubt he has struggled. But there are 2 reasons why the Cards were even in contention for a playoff berth, Murray & Dhop. I still say Kliff and his playcalling & scheme hinder his skills. There’s really no imagination to Kliffs offense. Not many crossing routes, hooks & comebacks galore and an occasional shot downfield. Double Dhop every play & Kliffs offense is a joke
