Hey East Mesa! You are on the board to draft. I forgot the draft was today also.

Mesa is SweetD, I will send him a PM if it takes much longer but #8 is ASUCHRIS who is just returning from Las Vegas today so the draft will likely come to a still for a while anyway.

I was just asking in the trash talk section of the Hoops board if there is some timeout limit of an hour or two hours? I have relatives in town and I can't tie up the phone line all day. I have a contingency set for my first pick, but if the draft suddenly skips ahead I don't want to tie it up. Is there a safe time to check back?

Just check back every once in a while.

There is no time limit for every single pick , only for your total of draft picks.

East Mesa is down to 3 hours and 45 minutes total for the draft!! I read your rules about how it automatically passes a guy's spot who is out of time but then he can draft at any point after that. That seems kinda disruptive to guys who are legitimatly up next and have their pick potentially snatched away from them. If we get a bunch of guys like that, it could end up being kaos! I know you probably can't change how this works, it just seems like a strange way that Hoops.ws has set up the draft boards.

Why?

If he wouldn't be skipped he could take any player available. When he is skipped he can still draft in his skipped position but only players that are still on the board.

But you are right there are some who GMs who I haven't seen logged in since the draft started. Of course I wasn't watching all the time.
I will send them PMs.

Got my boy Steph. Was it a reach? Probably, but being my favorite player, I want someone I could root for. I hate webber and kidd, among others, so I am happy.

I figured Dirk was the best available. I don't know though at FC. There are a couple other reasonable at FC. Plus with Dallas now having Jamisson I hope it doesn't take away from Dirk's production. Steph is a good G too...

Woohoo sweetD showed up and picked Shawn Marion #6 (really #8 because he was skipped).

DevonCardsFan will be skipped in 80 minutes.

Btw the first league started 24 hours earlier and is now at #102 while the second league finished a total of 8 picks. ;)

That means I can pay him less right. :) If you told me the draft was only for 3 hours on this day I would be there for all my picks. This 3-4 day thing sucks!! Becouse you just don't know when it is your turn.

No I had Marion has my #1 all the way. Suns player and Dirk and Dallas have way too many Off. Options and could get crazy. I would have taken Duncan, McGrady, or KG only.

I would have chosen one of those three had I had a higher pick. But Dirk I think is a good #7. I just hope Jammison doesn't steal some of his points just Finley's...
