Here we go. Matt Leinart is gone other options have been used up, the conversation is all dried up.

Whiz needs to act like a real NFL Head Football coach, but will he? He likes superstions' well its time to act right.

Skelton should start He's had enough time in the system and is proven far superior to any other QB Whiz has kept on this roster. even though I only have graded at 50 out 100 with developmental upside.

We need to start the Bean and give Skelton a fair chance to succeed. the Bean 20 carries plus with THT getting 10 as planned in preseason.

This would allow the Oline, WR's, defense and special teams an oppurtunity to succeed or at least a fair evaluation inside the NFL box, compared unorthodox evaluations passing like our hair is on fire.

Whiz needs to hire help, not the ones in his circle but oners he respects outside his circle. He has the power in the new contract but doesn't know how to yield it. I still think his heart is right (CARDINAL) but his thoughts and actions are dysfunctional.

there is talent on this team and it needs secured, Deuce, Lyle, Breaston, CC, Branch, THT, Bridges need signed yesterday.

I don't know if Porter, Haggins, Faneca, Hadnot, Mike Adams, Roberts, WR Williams, Komar will make another roster ever. DD may need dumped for salary reasons. He has never been worth that?

but nobody can get a fair evaluation throwing 75% of the time in this broken system and scheme. its impossible.

Like its impossible to evaluate beanie without ever getting to carry the load, so He aint an offensive lineman? is he a featured back week in and week out? in - out- maybe-oops -oof -if-ahgg- punt- pass- kick- foul- torture- hurt- wr- block - repeated ad nauseum.

they play like I post.

The Cards will not have the ball enough for 30 carries by the RB's.

I'd bet that

We have always had the ball enough for 30 carries. but We never keep it cause we pass 75% of the time and THT goes for no gains 50% of his attempts. THt is better than coach has put him in position to show.

Tht would not be the starter on most teams, maybe a handful like Indy or the patriots who run just for honesty not production, but We have no QB and are killing the manicans that we have.

If Indy or New England had Beanie Wells do you in your wildest dreams think he would get 3 carries? or 16 in 4 games? do you think they would pass 75% of the time? Peyton Manning would barely break 50% completions

Its not the Oline its the position the oline is in every week. It's not just the defense its the TOP every week. We need to keep this defense on the bench as much as possible.

It's not just DA it's the position DA is in every week. Max Hall too!
Whiz don't wanna ruin Skelton, Well don't then you big silly. protect him and let John Skelton develope, even if He is an NFL back up were going to need him behind whoever else Whiz busts.

THESMEL-----I wish I had your optimism, but I truly believe that what you are seeing out of Whizenhunt is what you will continue to see. He IS the man with the power now that he has his new contract extension. Moreover, he believes that what he is doing is what will bring success. Simply put, unless he changes his ways, he will never put the Cardinals in a position to really succeed.

Whiz is convinced that what he is trying to do is the right thing to do, and that is precisely why I WOULD NOT start Skelton. In my estimation, nothing ruins more young players than utter failure. Right now Whiz cannot put ANY young player in a position to succeed. For that very reason, I would let Whiz have his way with the remainder of the season, but I would only allow him to use Skelton in any situation where the outcome of the game has already been determined.

Whiz has probably ruined Max Hall for good. You could see that in Max's eyes when he was brought into the game. Gone was the confident look that Max had when he started against the Saints. He has played enough under Whiz's system to know that he can't prevail. He now plays with every sense, and every motion, and every thought, geared for survival. The same can be said for DA. No quarterback can succeed in what Whiz chooses to call an offense right now, and that will not change.

I would not allow Skelton into any game in which the outcome has not already been decided. I would protect him from the pressure cooker that is Whiz's offensive system. Warner, Dansby, and Boldin all knew what was happening as the offense evolved to 70% pass vs. 30% run, and all of them chose to leave. This is a no-win situation for any QB, and a sure fire destroyer of any youngster who ventures into that situation. Michael should see to it that Skelton is not ruined like our other starting QB's have been. Skelton should only be allowed into games where the opponent's ferocity has been removed from the game, (either by leading, or by trailing), by so many points that our QB is no longer the focus of their anger. I would only let him face a defense that has gone vanilla at this point in the season. The kid, (like Hall did), shows promise, and I would not give Whiz the opportunity to ruin that.

I don't want this to become an argument about DA already being ruined before he came here. That is not my point. My point is that no QB can be successful in this scheme as it is. Because of the new power base that Whiz has since his contract renewal became effective, the only person who seems to trump him is Michael. That needs to change before next year begins. We desperately need a GM with enough clout to RUN this coaching staff.

Whiz ruined Max Hall? That is a good one. Whiz made Hall's hands too small?

If you are going to start 'the bean' with Skelton the bean better learn how to block

Skelton should start He's had enough time in the system and is proven far superior to any other QB Whiz has kept on this roster

he threw 6 passes and completed 3 he hasn't proven anything yet.
I hope he works out and he's the next Tom Brady/Manning and our QBOF but lets not crown him just yet.

THT is an above average RB blocker in the NFL, lord knows he gets enough oppurtunity.

Beanie is average, so what his primary responsibility is not blocking. ask Edge He'll tell you!

His primary responsibility is not catching, Beanie is above average on his meager attempts though. including fantastic from the WR position! never seen THT out their, he might be great too.

His primary responsibility is to run the football, He asked for 7 carries to get warmed up, figure out the defense and go from there.

but no, thats asking to much. We might actually win or something close to competing if we did that.

I'm not crowning anybody I'm hoping we have a back up quailty NFL QB on this roster. somebody that belongs on a roster next year.

Actually, Catfish, I thought the look in Max's eyes reflected the fact that he's been sick. That's all I read into it.

Getting destroyed his rookie year didn't seem to hurt Peyton Manning. Sure it ruins lots of young players, but the guys who have *it* do not get ruined. We need to find out if Skelton has *it* before April.
