Hoping for a boring and smart draft

Meaning I hope the Cardinals look at this draft and realize that some of the best players are OL and we just happen to need help in that area. I want us to be really safe and boring as all hell and select Warmack or Cooper at guard unless one of the top tackles are there. I get why some like Austin at WR and why some like Geno Smith but look at this OL talent...we have Palmer and the QB class next year seems a lot brighter and I do think Floyd is first round talent and Palmer will show that if he has time to throw. Pass rusher? I would not be upset but these OL guys are about as sure of a gamble as one can have in the draft. Do the right thing Cards, go OL

For once, I don't really have huge opinions about the draft. I don't have a specific player I want us to take in the first, I don't know where we should go with our other picks, I don't really know the draft class, and I couldn't come close to filling out a 1st round mock. Grad school is just sucking up all my time.

The only thing I can say for sure is that I don't want us taking a QB in round 1, or trading back into the 1st to take one.

I'm all for the O-line Roy Green , I can remember as for back as 62 (the year I became addicted to football) that a QB's best friend is a strong rushing attack . When we consider the numbers Palmer posted with the Raiders receivers and the 28'th ranked rushing attack , those numbers loom even larger . We strenghen the O-line , get the run game going , my confidence is high that Palmer --Fitz --Floyd -- Roberts will give us plenty to cheer about .

I think it would be tough to screw up our #1 pick this year. I suppose we could take Ansah outta the blue but I'm expecting a OL.

I would be fine with a pass rusher, because the elite ones seem to only be available when you have a top ten pick but this OL crop is golden. It is all about time. Giving our QB time to pass and limiting their QB time. But I still think it is time for some OL stud in Cardinal red!

We have been so deprived of a good OL that yes, for us, picking a guard would be a very sexy pick
