Paul twisted his left ankle shortly before halftime Monday night but returned in the third quarter to lead New Orleans to a 112-84 win over the Los Angeles Clippers. He had 24 points and 10 assists despite sitting out the fourth.

The 24-year-old All-Star had a big bag of ice on the ankle after the game, and the injury could potentially hamper him Wednesday.

It was an important win for the Hornets (3-5), who one night earlier were blown out 104-88 by the Lakers for their fourth loss in five games.

"There's still a long way to go in this season, and we have to get back to reaching our potential and doing our best," Paul said.

The New Orleans Hornets are having all kinds of problems at the shooting guard position. Devin Brown didn't look too good in his first good game replacing Morris Peterson.
I think that the Suns game tonight.

They pretty much dominated the Suns the last two season. Mostly due to Peja and Chandler and of course CP. I hope the absence of Chandler will help Amare since Okafor never could contain him.

Would be really nice to get a win here since the lakers game is basically a gimme for the lakers since the schedule is absolutely horrifically biased for the lakers. Most likely compliments stern gift wrapped for the lakers and oh what a surprise it is also on national tv to make the lakers look better drubbing the gassed out suns after the lakers get a huge rest.

Phoenix will need a miracle to win tomarrow, so lets get a win here.

Especially when you consider the Suns have to fly to LA tonight after this game AND the game tonight is the late ESPN game so the Suns should be resting in their hotel rooms by hmmm say 3am? Then they get to wake up and play the Lakers...

Man did we get hosed on that deal or what?

Oh well, like you said lets just get this one and let whatever happens tomorrow happen.

Well, at least the Lakers have to play tonight too.

Oh wait, no they don't. They're sitting at home on their hands waiting for us.

Yeh what is with that? They've had 3 days off, while we'll be on a back 2 back. Not feeling good about tomorrow.

For the past few years, the Lakers always get a favorable schedule. Lots of home games, lots of rest between games. Its ridiculous.

Amare is not smart on defense but he is giving the effort. And today Nash-Amare 2-man game worked super. In one play, Amare rolled to screen the helper from JRich for Nash assisted 3. In the next, the helper hesitated and Amare went for power dunk. :)
