Hahahahhahah Suns suck! A game they HAD to win, they lose. I hope SA smokes the living s*** out of em on Sunday just so PHX knows how much they suck. Then I hope Sarver, Gentry, Carter & Lopez all realize that they ruined the franchise and do a group sucide or somethin.

Wow, go smoke some herb or take a xanax dude.

New Orleans came in on the second night of a back-to-back, on the road, missing their top scorer, not really needing the win as much as Phoenix, and they got it anyway. The Suns were desperate to win this game, but they didn't play with that desperation. Losing Gortat did not help, but the Suns shouldn't be thinking about the playoffs if they can't beat, at home, the teams that they are chasing for those spots.

Can't even beat a team that played an overtime game last night and lost their leading scorer.
'Good move to bench both Carter and Lopez to start the 3rd quarter.

Bad break when Gortat ran into Nash. And he has the biggest nose in the league. I hope he can come back soon.

With him, we would have won the game.

Vince Carter sat down and he is our starting SG, we lost our starting center Gortat and our "starting" center Lopez never came back, ,and knowing all this Gentry didn't even bother to continue to play Brooks who was pretty much Jimmer Fredette tonight. Good effort but not enough pieces, not enough luck, even the refs turned into their usual selves in the 4th.

I REALLY hope we're seeing the last of Steve Nash. Could this team come back next year as currently constructed and hope for zero injuries with Nash and Hill at 37 and 38 respectively? sure. but for what purpose? to win 47 games and get our asses kicked in the playoffs?

Please Sarver. You're coming off the most ******** off-season I've ever seen. realize it's time to let go of this team, get what you can for the old guys and start rebuilding around Frye/Gortat and whoever our lotto pick ends up being.

note: I'm also saying this because I want to see Nash have one or two more chances at a title with a team that can legitimately challenge for one. that ain't us. if there's a deal to be made, make it and let's all move on with good memories and look toward a new future.

Time to get Gortat and Nash healthy.

Playing without Carter and Lopez is not a bad break.

Gortat's nose is.

I remember Eddie Johnson saying I hope this is not the last we see of Brooks tonight when he sat down. Brooks was playing much better than Nash, no use whitewashing it.

If Gortat is going to be out for awhile, and with Nash's deterioration, we need Brooks' accurate shooting to keep us in games with the old SSOL approach. Outscore the opponent.

'Not a strong approach for a whole season, but necessary now.

All we can do now is work on next year, tonight the God's showed us what was up. Between Lopez's early exit, and then Gortat playing the entire game before getting smacked, and then the Suns not being able to defend or rebound.

The Suns need to start looking towards the future by playing their younger and underutilized players. I want the Suns to play hard and see who is part of their future. Running off garbage wins at the end of he season proves nothing other than get Sarver thinking the Suns are better than they are. Playing Brooks, Dowdell, Childress, Lopez and Siler is fine with me.

I took a look at the boxscore. Gortat led our +/- again, with a +11, by far the best on the team.

Sometimes that stat isn't necessarily meaningful. It sure was tonight.

Sadly, I agree on all points. I will be very sad to see Nash go but there's really no point in making him squander his last couple of years on this team and no point in us hanging on to the past instead of starting the rebuilding process. I'd rather get something out of him and give him one last shot at a ring. Knowing Sarver though...

I hope the Suns get Gortat healthy before he plays again. There is nothing to be gained by pushing it. The same with Nash and perhaps even Frye.

I hope you mean give them some regular playing time as opposed to big minutes.

A lineup of 2 Point Guards, a Small Forward and 2 Centers would be sort of dysfunctional.

Of course. But let's get them some minutes so the Suns see what they have, or don't have, for next season.

This game wasn't Gentry's fault, but the season was. Just my opinion, don't get worked up. I still think Lopez can be useful in the right role. We won't get anything for him.

So was Gentry smarter than all the other coaches that started their best big?
