Lopez set that mean screen on Paul, I liked it. Lopez was tough on that screen, that's what I like to see. I hope Lopez comes out strong in the second half.

Why do the Suns so much a** at closing out quarters? I mean they do fine until the last minute.

8-3 run by NO to end the QTR. Once a 11 pt lead, now a 6 pt lead for PHX. Gentry not giving Brooks enough playin time despite him playin so well.

Brooks' shot is really back. This guy is truly a solid scorer which is pretty hard to get.

Suns up 56-50 after the 2nd quarter. Suns biggest lead was 11 points. Suns shooting 50% with 6/8 3 pointers, Hornets 43% with 3/8 3 pointers.

Suns (Nash with 2) and Hornets have both committed 6 turnovers.

Suns have 4 offensive rebounds, Hornets 8.

Suns have hit 12/15 free throws, Hornets have hit 7/10 free throws.

Solid quarter by the Suns. We need to do a lot better job with defensive rebounding though.

I can't wait till all referees are replaced by robots who get the call right. Once the player's voice exceeds a certain decibel the robot will assess the player a technical foul.

What's not being talked about is the beast that is Gortat. He was pretty much dominating in that first half on both ends. The guy is legit, what a steal of a deal.

I saw some heart tonight from the Lopez, this might be one of those games that wakes him up. He has the skill, I don't think it's his back problems.

I think he has been so worried about losing his starting gig, it really affected his game. I thought Gortat coming in would help him but it's done the opposite. Even though Gentry has been in his ear the whole time , letting Robin know he still has faith in him.

It's Friday, I might just be a happy guy.

I disagree. He's blown some easy shots and he should be feasting on rebounds on the defensive end. Hornets have way too many second chances.
