Sports Illustrated says that the Giants have offered Manny Ramirez a three or four year deal. The Yankees have already won this offseason's "team who overpaid the most for what they got" award, but San Francisco is making a good charge for the runner up spot.

Depends on how much $$ the Giants are offering Manny... Anything above $15 million per and they could surpass the Yanks in the "overspending" race...

Someone suggested the D-Backs go after Ben Sheets to a one year deal since he is getting no interest. I would like it.
