Don't get why the Cubs made this deal. They are in no position to contend in the central. Even after the deal the best they can hope for is 3rd but will probably finish 4th. They gave up a ton of talent, while not anything that is supposed to become a superstar, it was still a lot of good talent.

Hendry is a dope, but Garza is a great pitcher, I guess.

OAK gets Fuentes a day after getting Balfour. OAK has really been busy this offseason and looks like they can make some noise. Their rotation is impressive and deep along with their rebuilt bullpen. They upgraded their OF with Willingham and DeJesus and the only question is how much will they get from their INF and C spots.

Hate to break it to ya, but even WITH Konerko, this isn't a playoff team in 2011.

This team is a major work in progress.
