That would be great. We extend the curse beating Curt Schilling after he won the franchise's first World Series with us. If we can sign Sexon beyond '04 & develop our farm system & young arms, I think we can return to the big dance before long & beat those cowboys

yeah, I know, but after a year or two when everyone matures, they could just make a run at it again & be back in the WS before long.

The Dbacks will be lucky to finish in the middle of the pack next year in the NL West. We have gotten alot closer to the Padres and Rockies over the last week, than we have the Giants or Dodgers.

did you say we are on the same level as the rockies and padres. I think you need to put down the coolaide and take a look at this team. I think, although the pitching isnt quite what it was, the offensive production from sexson alone will put this team back near the top of the NL west. We now have strong offense at both the corner positions and if we can move a guy like a chad tracey to right we are looking like a damn good offensive ball club. I think we will see a much better season out of johnson and with the ofensive production that will equal more wins for webb.
