How about Dungy saying Cowboys controlled the game.

On NBC pregame, Dan Patrick asks him the question I hate more than any. "So did the Cardinals win this game? Or did the Cowboys lose it?"

Dungy: "No. Cowboys controlled this game. They just made too many mistakes." And they point out, highlights and all, the 2 bad throws Romo made, as justification for how they handed the game to us. Sure, they may have spotted us 7 points there. But, no mention of the missed throws by Kolb, the false start on the 1 foot line. I think that evens it out.

So what game did Dungy watch? Or... Wait a second! I bet he didn't watch this game at all! I bet some producer showed him two bad Romo clips and told him what to say. Nah! They wouldn't do that. :D

Way to go Dunge!

You guys are way too sensitive. It's some dude on TV, no matter what he says will change the outcome of this game or our record. Plus he had some points. That was biggest clock management debacle i've seen in a long time. Les Miles and Andy Reid think Jason Garrett needs a timekeeper.

the whole NFL Network group did not mention how well our defense played. Heck, they held Murray to below 40 yards rushing? This is not made up one bit, we got no credit at all in a game by most which at the very least was a even matchup with both sides of the defenses playing physical defense and even with the announcers stating how well we where playing. I seriously doubt anyone really thought we had a chance (probably not watching most of it till it came down to the end) and then just concentrated on the botched fieldgoal as if it summed up the game and it did not.

The sports media won't mention the Cardinals unless we beat the Niners this week & a few of the 7-5 teams lose. If we can get to within a game of the WC, then we'll hear more. For now, they'll approach results based on how well the team in contention played. If we beat the Niners, I wouldn't be surprised to see us win out! Our D will keep us in games, it's now up to Kolb to be the difference.

Heard Chris Berman say not that anyone cares but Cards have won some games lately. ESPN always puts us down. Whatever, we played a good game yesterday against a Dallas team that was well rested and needed to win the game.

Dungy hadn't had time to see the film. That's the first thing I thought of when I heard him say that.

If anything, the Cardinals controlled this game more than the Cowboys.

But this is typical of annointed teams. It's always how they screwed up or didn't do this or that. Never what the opposition did.

The controlled the field position battle all day long. That was about all I can give them credit for. Other than that, it was pretty much a push for 4 quarters and Advantage: Cards in OT.

I don't really have a problem with it. Garrett lost the game with a ridiculously stupid decision in not calling timeout with 23 seconds left to play and 2 chances to stop the clock. Totally indefensible.

For most of the game, it seemed to me that the Cowboys were the more physical team. Great effort by the D and the Cards kept it close enough to get a win. Take that to the bank every week.

Cards played AWESOME!!!!

I was there....they played hard and strong. Defense was pressuring Romo and the offense came out and kept them in the game.
2nd half they marched down the field play after play....they came out strong. Great adjustments.

Would I trade Kolb for Romo. You bet I would. Would I trade our young defense for the Dallas defense? No I would not. The facts speak for themselves. We won. We definitely out played them in the second half. I call the first half a draw.

We will never get any respect until we become one of the chosen ones of the media. The Cowboys no matter how good or bad they play are America's Team and will always get the attention they sometimes do not deserve. Arizona rarely gets any press in my state.

Dallas controlled Field Position in the first half, Field Position much more even in the second half. We controlled the ball for the entire OT, equals win.

2 different games. The Cowboys won the 1st half, the Cards won the 2nd and OT.

I can't stand how TV tries to make Dungy out as some genius on everything football and if he endorses something it's gospel.

If it was just one dude on TV, fine. It's everyone, all the time. I think it's less about disrespect for the Cardinals and more about the orgy of Cowboys love that the national sports media partakes in.

I agree that they controlled field position. That makes the victory that much more sweeter, the Cards still found a way to win.

I would put money on the fact that every national media outlet wants the cowboys to win just like they want the steelers who still have a rapist as a qb to win or the patriots or either of the new york teams to win they make more money when those teams win. Right or wrong that is what it boils down to IMO

I say the Cardinals as a whole out played them for the simple fact that the Cowboys had field position and still could not do anything with it. It was a tough fought game on both sides and both teams were giving it their all. It made it all the sweeter when we won, because both teams earned the prospect of a win in it

Truth. The Cards had 25% of their total offense in Overtime. And that's all that mattered in the end.
