So, Luis Scola's leading the team in scoring while shooting an incredibly efficient 52.3% from the floor. Thoughts?

He is worse on defense and on the boards than Amare.
He's playing pretty well, hopefully the Suns can trade him midway through the season for a late 1st rounder!
can't trade him at all until next offseason
I really hate the Scola signing. It means Beasley will rarely get the opportunity to play the 4 (the only place I think he can really succeed on the floor) and Scola may single handedly win the Suns some games.
Yep. On the 2010 team, that would have been a stellar signing. On this team, it makes no sense at all. What a waste of time for all involved parties. (like most things Suns related these days)
Completely agree. People seem to be overlooking the big picture with that signing and that is that if he keeps playing well this year we will have a good trade piece for next off season. It makes perfect sense. Keep him for a year and then he can be traded. It is an excellent contract to use in trade negotiations.
Been a few more weeks and after a nice 1st week Scola is really stinkin it up.
I am really starting to doubt Scola as a "useful asset" this next offseason. Even at 4.5 mil a year I think we might be stuck with him. I cant recall if we have a buyout option or not?
He is a scarecrow defensively and outside of being left wide open for a mid range jumper has been pretty useless on the other end too. His baseline stats look okay but I cant imagine a team looking at the film and still having interest.
