How can the Suns be targeting SG's & SF's, when our MAIN need is clearly a BIG?

teams are lining up to sign mediocre centers for at least the mid-level exception. It really doesn't bother me that the Phoenix Suns would rather use their money on more talented players at other positions.

personally i dont think the suns are done looking at bigs, but what they are doing is waiting till they see where they are to the cap before they make their next move. right now by showing intrest in others we are forcing their teams to move and take them out of our way.

I would assume that every agent representing a big guy has the Suns on their speed dial. Even under worst case, the Suns have $6 million which is more than all the MLE teams can offer. The MLE teams are being more agressive at going after guys, but the under cap teams know that no one is going to sign an MLE contract before talking to the teams with money.
