I've been following the board for quite a while, and finally thought I'd join the conversation. I can't really say I'm a die hard Cards fan, but I find myself watching/listening to most of the games these past few years. I'm glad the Cards finally pulled one out...sounded like a great game on the radio.
I just wanted to ask how everyone thought Ransom performed; I read that he started quite a few game for the Chiefs so I assume he isn't a slug. I heard his name a few times on 1060...I'm hoping that he will help pick up the defense a little. Any comments? Thanks and this is a great board!

Welcome Dutchman. I checked the stats. Ransom didn't have any tackles, but as Oran stated, he did play. I don't remember anything oustanding about him either good or bad. He's probably still learning the plays and is limited as to how much time he can play. With the heat yesterday and Wakefield and Bryant being out, I'm sure his help was really appreciated.

Welcome Dutchman.

Ransom played some but it looked to me it was just spot duty. A play here and there.

He did a fair amount of substitution over the course of the game. In fact, he spotted for Johnson at LDE on number of plays in the second half... (And he did have a tackle per NFL.com)

Welcome DutchmanAZ! According to the stats on NFL.com, Ransom was credited for 1 tackle and 1 assit. Not sure if those that saw the game in person would agree, but thats what his stats show.

By the way your right! This is a great board, I'm glad I joined up.

Welcome aboad.

I see I was the only one checking him out. He did well. He didn't tackle anybody, but he got some penetration, and hustles well.

Did I miss something. I checked NFL.com and they showed no tackles for Ransom---

Thanks for the welcome...Hope the Cardinals can build on this and be productive. How's that for the use of buzz words?

40 year, I went to NFL.com, clicked on SCORES, went to the Packers/Cards score and clicked on Gamebook.

I scrolled down to Defense and looked for Ransom. There they had him down for 1 tackle and 1 assist. They had him right above C.Pace. When I just went there to double check myself I did notice that Pace had the same numbers, so maybe they made a mistake. though I do remember that I did read his name on an assist yesterday before I had to leave.

I don't doubt that one bit who_me. Since it's the Cardinals, why would they worry about getting it right:rolleyes:

I do remember one play that Ahman Green had to change direction because of Ransom's penetration and his delay was enough for Ray Thompson catch him (Green) in the backfield.
