I was just thinking about this today. I've been a fan since 1960 and got to see 2-3 games a year until the advent of Satellite TV and sports bars. I have seen every game since Gene Stallings was coach either in person, on TV or in replay.

How about the rest of you?

Again count games you have seen in person, on TV, or watched in replay.

Hmm. I started being a fan when they moved to the Valley, but I was in high school and could only watch the games on TV vs. the Eagles.

Once I hit 21, I started going to the bar every Sunday to watch the games. Then, when I got my house, I got DirecTV, which was AWESOME! I saw at least five games in person before moving to the Valley.

Man, what a question! Gotta be at least 200 easy, probably closer to 250.

I've been lucky enough to have seen every game since they came to town.We have also been on the road a few times. Including the 98 playoff game in Dallas. Many happy days. I've seen in person The Good, The Bad and the very Ugly!

Surprising isn't it when you stop and think about it.

Another thing that is surprising is the number of games people who haven't lived in either St.Louis or Arizona have been to see in person.

Really amazing for a team that has habitually been 5-11.

I actually flew from NJ to St. Louis to see a game. Turned out to be one of the greatest comebacks in NFL history.

by my best guess,...about a hundred or so in person,.....double that on tv I guess........I know I have missed some games over the years since they moved to the Valley......but I saw plenty before they moved to AZ too.

It really is. I didn't realize I had seen so many games until I started to add them up.

If you have just seen all the games since they moved to the Valley you are over 300!

Call me one of those loyal crazies then. I've been to every Cards game here in Dallas since 1974 & games in AZ (10), Stl (5), Sea, Chi, NY, Hou, Cle, NO, Carolina, TB, Pit (SB) & last week in KC. I intend on seeing the Redbirds play in person every NFL team with 8 remaining. Can't wait to visit Lambeau in 2012.

I must be over 300

My grandpa used to take me to see the games when I'd visit him in St. Louis when I was a kid.

When they moved out here...I remember I used to walk the neighborhood and go door to door collecting everyone's aluminum soda cans so I could recycle them, and I'd sell my Nintendo games so I could get enough money for tickets and to pay my sister the $10 she required for driving me and a friend all the way out to Tempe from Glendale. Been to all but 3 games since they've been here.

Oooh...almost forgot....

I went back to my hometown of Steubenville, OH in Nov. 2003. I went to go see the Cards play in Pittsburgh on the 9th. We lost I believe 28 - 15 :(

Also went to Pontiac to see them play Barry Sanders in September 1993...The Cards were my favorite team, but Barry was my favorite player. Actually got to meet him. Told him "I love ya Barry, but I'm hoping my Cardinals shut you down." They didn't...and we lost...but Barry still signed 5 rookie cards I had with me and a jersey I bought.

I watched a smattering of games in the 60s, mostly when they played the Crowboys, more in the 70s, even went to several games in StLouis, 2nd ex wife was from there(still have jersey from those trips), picked up in 80s with sports bars, then to SDS I probably went to 50 over the 90s, then directv for 6 seasons and to UofP about 15 times....

if you count rewatching the Falcon, Carolina and Eagle playoff games add another 50..lol

oh the humanity!!!!

That probably puts me over 300. However I dont remember when sunday ticket started? Plus I know I watched quite a few from years 7-12 since the Cowboys were always televised in AZ and I remember them playing the red birds.

I didn't see a whole lot while I was traveling, had to live off sportscenter for a while. I figure I am around 200 (maybe a few more?), so I went with the 1 to 2.

We didn't play the Jets in '77. '78 perhaps?

I'd say approaching 200 for me. In person, at home, at sports bars and watching internet feeds..., 88 & 89 I watched, attended or glued myself to the radio for every game, missed most of the games from 90-94 as I was in the military and most Cardinal games were not on TV(no fancy internet either). Didn't miss a game from 95-99 though when I had season tickets. '00 - '05 were spotty because of work but I bought Sirius radio just to listen to the games and I haven't missed a game since '05 (attended, Internet, TV, even with my Direct TV Cell phone app).

16 games a year from about 95 until now 40 games in person from when i lived there and was a season ticket holder from 90 to 95,
plus all the televised games from about 75 until 1990, so i figure it was over three hundred
the cowboys lions thanksgiving game that was a tradition for a long time if memory serves me right used to be the cowboys cards for a while,
i was young, maybe 10, but i seem to remember seeing one of those games in the seventies and i think it was thanksgiving so i liked the birds on the helmets, it was as simple as that ,so i started getting into them back then

35 years later and i'm still here, guess that dispels any idea of me being a bandwagon fan..yes?:cards:

I have friend at work who has taped games for me when they are not on TV here. He has done that for the past 4 years. So I guess in the last four years I have seen 74 regular season game and 5 playoff games. In my life time since 1973 when I started following the Cards I have seen either on TV or live close to 300 games. I had 5 year stretch from 83-88 where I was unable to see games due to being deployed overseas in the military.

Actually, the Lions have always had the Thanksgiving game but at one time the Cards were the other Thanksgiving team. In 75, 76, & 77. We lost all 3 times, 2 badly. A 32-14 loss to the Bills and the 55-14 debacle against Miami. '78 Dallas took over as the Thanksgiving team and has been there ever since. We don't have a very good Thanksgiving record. 0-6 Since 1970. We're 5-16-2 overall on Thanksgiving and haven't won a Thanksgiving Day game since 1929.

About 55 ----- all in Sun Defil Stadium. On TV I have seen all but about 4 that were televised here since they moved to the valley. Those were on while I was travelling out of state.

I am so old, I have seen the Cards in Chicago, New York, Baltimore, St. Louis, Philly, Washington, Cincy, Kansas City, Indianapolis, and Ariz. I will admit it is less than 100 games. I will tell you this though I have spent a lot of money on this, but well worth it. Matson, Trippi, Crow, Hart, Randle, Green, Lomax, Warner, Wilson, I could go on and on. GO CARDS-WILL LOVE THIS TEAM FOREVER!
