Why not try to get Kevin Love and Dwight. Do like a Len and Morris for Love and a Chandler,Tucker,Knight for Lawson and Dwight. Might have to do a little more maneuvering. But I say why not.

Dwight is overpaid underperforms and is in decline. How does that make sense for this young team.

Dwght's legs have to carry those shoulders around. They have to give out at some point.

We have a good young core, we need patience.

Booker can be a superstar.
Bledsoe is a borderline allstar as long as he is heatlhy.
Warren can be a 20+ppg scorer, which would make him a star. He shot 51% from the field and 40% from 3 this season. Pretty good considering people said his weakness was the 3pt shot.

Len is frustrating to watch because he still fouls too much and is too inconsistent. Still 13/11.5/2 per 36.

Bodganovic is the best young player in Europe. Archie Goodwin is showing he has talent, but is probably the most expendable.

Brandon Knight has played well as SG alongside Bledsoe but out wealth of shooting guards make him tradeable.

Markieff when focused is one of the better young power forwards in the NBA, obviously going to be traded.

Get some value out of Markieff, Goodwin, Knight, Teletovic, Tucker, Leuer. Continue to draft well and patience to let the team grow.
Adding Bogdan to a trade might not be totally out of the question if it is worth it.

Len
Simmons
Warren
Booker
Bledsoe

would be a very nice core that probably needs 2-3 more years to develop into a really good team.

The unfortanate thing is that we need a good young pf. Markieff is what we need but we have to trade him. We need to get a player like Markieff back.

I totally agree about the patience thing. This team will play better with time. Also, the best move might be a minor one.

That would be trading Markieff for Ryan Anderson. Anderson is 1 year older but doesn't come with the personal baggage Kieff does. He is also a much better 3 point shooter. He averages the best we can hope for from Leuer or Teletovic. If he fit well with the team then he'd be worth an overpay. Due to the contract differences, Ryan is expiring while Markieff has 2 more years after this one, New Orleans might do that trade. They get a PF who can play alongside Davis and is under contract helping them build some consistency, while we can audition Anderson before locking him in long term. I think there are enough pro's and con's on both sides that it's an even trade. Anderson will get overpaid in the offseason but I doubt he'll be grossly overpaid.

We know McD loves stretch 4's, surely he's thought about acquiring Anderson at some point. The Suns would be done with the whole Morris brothers saga and can finally build towards the future. Anderson and Booker on the court together would keep defenses honest. Throw Warren in with them for constant movement plus Chandler or Len at Center and our PG will be able to drive with ease to score or dish to an open player.

Anderson is barely having a better season than Teletovic.

And both can't play any defense.

I just don't see the point with that though. Anderson is a FA this summer. Why not trade Kieff for a pick and sign Anderson if we want?

Teletovic and Anderson are free agents after the season. The value in trading for them now only benefits a playoff team.
