Hollywood Blvd...back in the '90s when I lived in L.A., a couple of my buddies and I would drive down that route at night and play a little game we liked to call "Dude? Or Not a Dude?" Fun times.

One of the things you can do in L.A. for entertainment when you don't have any money.
That game is still being played on that very Street, and it's hard sometimes. :p

I wanted to bring this back from the dead, with the Rams moving back to Los Angeles.

Want to give it another go on trying to go somewhere to watch a game(playoffs!!), and possibly start our own halftime meets in the future for the Cardinals games here?

I'm in Orange County.

Newport Beach. And Ouchie-Z-Clown is in Costa Mesa. We often get together in Newport Beach with CheeseBeef (who drives down from L.A.). The latest hangout is Baja Sports Cantina, although we occasionally hit Cruisers (good Super Bowl party site!) and used to always go to Rudy's, before it went downhill.

Anyone else in the area, come join us! Except not this weekend - we'll all be at the divisional playoff game!

whats palos verdes? Is that like paradise valley?

Kind of, but I think Fountain Hills is a better comparison. I used to live there and currently live in Palos Verdes.

It's an affluent city/community that is more or less away from the madness that is the main city and its immediate suburbs, and is more tight knit than other cities in LA county. Aside from my wife being from Palos Verdes, the reason I live here is because it reminds me a lot of Fountain Hills and how it's secluded but still close enough to the larger, more populous cities. Great place to raise kids.

If the Cards win, and we have to play at Carolina, I'll try to make it to that if you guys are getting together.

I'm in South OC...Rancho Santa Margarita...I've been to Mutt's in Newport, but not the other places you mention. Let me know where you'll be for the NFC Championship and I'll be there.

Palos Verdes is a nice area - and very unique, geologically and flora/fauna wise.

It is one of the Channel Islands (now connected to the mainland due to sediments filling the LA basin, and the birds/plants found there (ones not developed away) reflect that.

if they get that far, you or Dave should have people at your places. we're all going to be going to freaking crazy to watch that game in public.

So true! If the Cards & Seahawks win, i'll sure want to go to that game in person, too. But if the Panthers win, it's ON at my pad!

Edit: Looks as though the party's at Ouchie's!
