As far as how many rebounds... probably zero due to the fact that they would actually try with me on the court. However, point well taken in the thread - these guys just allow anyone to grab rebounds without trying to stop it during long stretches in a game.

I could probably grab a few in my younger years. Rebounding is more about getting position and blocking out. Also show your elbows whenever possible... not to hit anyone or get a foul but to make opposing players think.

Absolutely. Combine that with desire and physical ability and you create a monster rebounder....add a dress and you get Dennis Rodman.:D

Since I had no offensive game outside of five feet and was as slow as molasses, offensive rebounds were the only scoring opportunities I ever got.

I can probably get a half of a rebound.

I'm 5'3" and middle aged with bad knees. :)

I notice in almost every Suns game when our guys shoot from three point, about a third to half of the misses bounce right back the direction our guys were shooting from and about 5 to 8 feet short of where they were standing when they shot the ball. I was thinking, if our guys scouting the games would just tell our three point shooters to step in about 3 steps after they shoot, we would get a lot of second chance points. Instead, our guys just run up the court to play D after shooting, and the other team usually rebounds the miss after it has bounced on the ground. Using this knowledge, I think I could get 3 boards a game easy.

Good point, Yuma. Long rebounds from missed 3-points shots have been the case ever since it was introduced into the old ABA.
