I'm not asking this to be a smart ass. I'm genuinely interested. Just going from memory:
1980,83 Raiders-Plunkett was originally drafted by New England then went to SF before ending up in Oakland and led them to 2 SB wins.
1987 Redskins-Doug Williams started in Tampa Bay before defecting to the USFL and returned to the NFL as a backup to Jay Shroedor.
1996 Packers-Brett Favre started his career in Atlanta.
1999 Rams-Kurt Warner was an undrafted free agent in Packers camp before he bounced around a couple of sub leagues before ending up the starter in St. Louis.
2009 Saints-Drew Brees started with the Chargers before basically being run out after they drafted Eli Manning and traded him for Philip Rivers.
I don't think I forgot anyone. The point here is that it's rare a FA or traded for QB has won a Super Bowl. I'm stressing the importance of grooming a young QB.
