How much more heartbreak can this team take before they all implode?

Been thinking about this for years, and today's game made it crystal clear: the cursed 1925 Championship must be vacated! We've all seen too much inexplicable Poltergeist-level **** go on over these past decades to come to any other conclusion.

Potsville's not a long trip from where you are. Go do something about it, lol.

Me, too. I will always care. It will cause me to die 10 years before my time. :p But I will always care.

Sure but there are only a handful of us compared to other teams. Not nearly enough to make the NFL care about Cardinal fans. We don't buy enough jerseys or caps or have numbers their big money advertisers want. In the big picture to them we're nobody.

You even commented on the number of Giants fans at UPS today. It's sad but true.

Yeah but you're a nobody.

You're dollar is in the mail.

:D

I think you're going to have to change one of those contractions to the possessive form. I'd go with "Yeah but your a nobody" and see how many heads explode.

The objective is to use Yeah But in a sentence in a post on ASFN. BIM be damned.

But the problem is most of these players don't. Too many guys collecting big checks & not even giving efforts. Wiz needs to rock the boat ASAP, by putting guys on the bench or calling guys out...but we all know reality is this will never happen. I would say throw the pads on like 2008 in practice but they can't really do that anymore

If anyone can tell me Porter, Rhodes, Levi or Keith gives a rats ass about winning & giving their all I'd be suprised.

Especially 4 hours after a Cardinal game when Miller Time starts about 2:30 CDT.

I am not a nobody. :)

And, yes, there were a lot of Giants fans in the stands. And I anticipate there will be even more Steelers fans there at the end of the month. And I don't really know what I hope to get out of going to that game on the 23rd.

But I will go. And I will cheer. And I will not leave until the game is over.

And, if we lose, I will take all the crap that is given to me by the Steelers fans. But, if we win ... :) well, that will just be awesome. I guess that's what I hope to get out of that game. Yeah, after all these years, I still have hope.

Or putting the wrong guys on the bench.....

That is a wonderful attitude but again there just aren't enough of us to change the NFL's attitude that nobody cares about the Cardinals. Doesn't mean you are a nobody. That was just a jab at YeahBut.

There were 25,000 of us rabid die hards regularly at SDS but that didn't keep the players from being adversely affected on game day because the attendance was so bad.

Actual comment from Ron McKinnon several years ago by the way.

I know. :) Just felt like saying it. :)

I've only been to two games at SDS. Both times were very 50-50 fan base wise. While there are sometimes many opposing fans at U of P, I don't think it will get as bad as SDS. At least I hope it won't.

I am selling my tickets for one game because I will be out of town. And, I am seriously considering just giving those tickets to a Cards fan.

Worst I ever saw for empty was the Atlanta game September 30 2001. Nobody was traveling, it was 104 at kickoff and the only people at the game where me Rats and Slanidrac who came in for Bob Chebets golf tournament.

There were only about 24,000 at the game. When the Atlanta players came back on to the field after warm ups they literally stopped at mid field and stared incredulously at the stands.

Worst ever for fans of the other team was Vikings in 2003. One of the great Cardinal wins of all times as a result.
