Some would say the garbage coming out of Lakers fans are the stupidest thing we ever heard. According to Lakers fans Bynum is now an all NBA center and they are the clear favorite to come out of the west. Hey Lakers fans, try getting out of the first round first!

Panic much? OH NO THE LAKERS GOT GASOL TIME TO BLOW IT ALL UP FOR A WASHED UP 35 YEAR OLD ON A 9 WIN EASTERN CONFERENCE TEAM

You kids comparing to Shaq to Kareem/Wilt probably never watched them play late in their career. This is hilarious.

Hilarious is your attempt to say that Wilt ran the floor after blowing his knee out, now thats hilarious. But then I guess you were too young to remember. Shaq doesnt need to run the floor, just get the board and the outlet pass. As far as kareem running the floor, he was the last one down on offense and didnt even make it down on D if the opponents ran the break. I do understand the bitterness laker fans hold for shaq, he won a championship after leaving while the lakers couldnt win a playoff series. Losing will engender bitterness. Just keep writing what a bum shaq is, Im sure he will be aware of the naysayers and that may be some good motivation. I do look forward to the games, it will be interesting to see how the lakers change their approach to the suns, and I cant imagine a more motivating opponent for the diesel.

Hilarious that I never said Wilt ran the floor.

Except Kareem still ran the floor three times as well in his late thirties than a prime Shaq. Not to mention, he threw twice the outlet pass.

But hey, keep acting like this wasn't a panic move by the Suns and you didn't trade for a guy who currently lead his former team to 9 wins, in the Eastern conference. And wasn't swept out of the Eastern conference playoffs by a powerhouse Chicago Bulls team in the 1st round.

So now that the Diesel puts on a Suns uniform he is going to 'flip the switch' because he has the possibility of seeing his former team in the playoffs? Don't buy it. He is conning the entire city of Phoenix with his charming smile and I honestly feel bad for you guys. I'd rather see a full-strength Phoenix team who was one ******** cheap flagrant foul away from the finals last year.

Nobody is saying that motivation will be a problem for Shaq. We all know that when he really wants to disprove the naysayers he steps up his game. He's taken 3 different teams to the Finals, this guy knows how to win. I'm certainly not disputing that.

I'm telling you what every Miami Heat fan knows deep inside. Shaq's body is broken. He's physically unable to do the things he used to do even 2 years ago and no amount of motivation will change that. He refused to condition himself consistently over the years and you are seeing the consequences now. Every time he steps on the floor he ends up reaggravating his hip again and has to sit out another week or two. If it's not his hip it's something else, the injuries will keep on coming. The one thing you want him to do, play defense, is going to break his body down even more. There is no way Shaq can last through several grueling playoff battles while giving you the kind of performance you need from him.

But I get why you want to stay positive about this. What's the alternative?

Only a basketball fool thinks one guy is responsible for his teams record. Hey Kobe can lead the league in scoring and score 80 in a game while getting bounced in the first round every year. Im no fool, I dont balme kobe for that, but some laker fans have interesting blinders. I just look forward to the gasol/stoudemire matchup, now that will be interesting. I guess thuggery will not be in PJ's playbook this year, what will he do then?

So Shaq is devoid of all blame but gets all the credit for the fluke title Wade/Zo won for him? Nice.

Nice dig at Kobe, logic is rock solid. No, the Lakers weren't starting Kwame Brown and Smush Parker. Not at all.

Shaq hasn't ran the floor well since he was 28. Kareem effectively ran the floor better than Shaq ever did in his prime, all the way into his late thirties. The comparison is the stupidest thing I have ever heard.

Shaq can't run floor? U must be kidding me. Shaq is one of the fastest center. Watch this, which happened less than 2 years ago. in 2006 ECF. Watch how he started and finished a fast break against the mighty Pistons.

LOL.

Shaq CAN'T RUN THE FLOOR. Dude, you are a Shaq jocksniffer, you should KNOW he can't run the floor. He can do it a few times a game, but he can't "run the floor."

Come on.

Upper deck Suns fans are great. I got in lots of nice smack talking sessions with them during the "clothesline" game. Lots of love for those fans.

However, I've also sat down on the floor level and those dbags are terrible fans. TERRIBLE. It's just the way of the NBA though. Imagine how great games would be if the upper deck fans got floor seats and the floor seat "fans" got to preen and prance in the upper deck. Games would be amazing.

What is your problem, Shaq fan? Seriously. What is your major malfunction?

Just because the guy whose jock you ride is the biggest guy on the block doesn't make you king kong. Twice now, you've tried to act like you are some long suffering suns fan.

Guess what, dude. I respect Suns FANS..people who have lived and died with their team for years...watched Paxon bury them...watched drugs deny them...watched the Celtics beat them.

But you..you are a fan of a man. You like a GUY. One guy. That's it. Oh well, sucks for you since your guy is a fat, lazy moneygrubbing fool that, if he had EVER tried hard once in his life could have become the greatest player to ever lace them up. But no, you follow a "uhm that's good enough guy." Good for you... but don't you EVER come at me again, because Mr. "eh, good enough" isn't enough for me.

I'm a Laker fan. I've watched more rings come to my team than your idiot savvant owns. And I'll watch more come. Your guy will be gone, and all you'll hold on to is memories of when he was dominant. Damn, fades fast doesn't it? Already the edges of the photos are gone and you can hardly see his feet in the pics...the feet he got operated on during "company time" of course.

I just dont get how Suns fans always like to discredit what the Lakers organization has accomplished with its past. Sure its in the past, but dont try and downplay it likes it meaningless. Because the last time i checked the Hornets, Grizzlies, Bobcats, Cavs, Kings, Clippers, TWolves and Jazz to name a few, all had the same number of titles combined as did the Suns.

They say "1" is the loneliest number...............but at least the number "1" has an existence.

Stop trying to minimize the Lakers glorious past. At least it has one.
