The Bernabeu is one of the most intimidating venues in world football, so can Arsenal handle the pressure? And can their visiting fans also make a difference with a lot of noise from the away end?

How Arsenal could line up vs Real Madrid

Arsenal have a few injuries, with long-term absentees Kai Havertz, Gabriel Magalhaes and Gabriel Jesus out of the first leg, though Bukayo Saka has recently been able to come back.

Thomas Partey now looks a bit of a doubt for this second leg, though, while Ben White has had issues for most of the season.

Apart from that, Mikel Arteta will have to go for as strong a line up as possible, so expect to see something like this at the Bernabeu…

Arsenal predicted line up: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Kiwior, Lewis-Skelly; Rice, Merino, Odegaard; Saka, Martinelli, Trossard.

Real Madrid predicted line-up to take on Arsenal

As in the first leg, Real Madrid also have a few injury problems, with Dani Carvajal and Ferland Mendy still out, while Eduardo Camavinga will be suspended after being sent off in the first leg.

Still, Real can’t afford not to give this game everything they’ve got, and it’s notable that both Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham were rested at the weekend.

Real Madrid predicted line up: Courtois; Valverde, Alaba, Rudiger, Asencio; Ceballos, Modric, Bellingham; Vinicius, Mbappe, Rodrygo.

Can Arsenal finally win their first ever Champions League?

Arsenal fans will be sick of hearing about it, but they’re perhaps the biggest club never to actually go all the way and win the Champions League.

The north London giants are major under-achievers in this competition, having only ever made the final once, losing 2-1 to Barcelona in 2006.

With such a big lead over Real Madrid from the first leg, this perhaps seems like Arsenal’s best chance to go all the way in this competition.

Of course, there would still be other big names like Barcelona and PSG to contend with later in the competition, but Real Madrid are serial winners of the European Cup, so getting past them would be a major statement and see one of the favourites knocked out nice and early.

Arsenal fans will surely be relishing this exciting opportunity, so there’s no doubt a seat at the Bernabeu for Wednesday is an absolute must!
