The Oklahoma Sooners baseball team is back on the road and back to SEC play. The No. 9 Sooners are headed to Tuscaloosa for a three-game set with Alabama.

Oklahoma has won both of its SEC series in the first two weeks in the league. In Week 2, OU took two out of three from Mississippi State.

Alabama is tied with Oklahoma in the SEC standings. The Crimson Tide swept their opening series against Texas A&M and took one against top-ranked Tennessee last weekend.

Six teams are tied at 4-2 through two weeks. They're just a game behind Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas, which are all 5-1.

Right-hander Kyson Witherspoon is scheduled to pitch Game 1 against the Tide. He has been excellent this season with a sub-2.00 earned-run average and sub-0.910 WHIP.

Alabama's rotation is in flux on the other side. Only four players have started any game this season for Robert Vaughn's team, but the Crimson Tide have not announced their weekend rotation.
