If I make it to the game I will wear my Plummer jersey (which I haven't worn since the 1999 season) and I will stand and applaud him. I bought the jersey his second season with the team and really thought he was going to be special. It didn't pan out that way and it's too bad.

I was glad when he left, it was time. But, for his ASU days alone he is worthy of a moment of applause. Beyond that, he's just another departed ex-Card and really isn't in my thoughts at all.

Peace!

With the things Jake has done for this Valley... Phoenix Childrens Hospital, Best Buddies, Alzheimers etc.. anybody who boos Jake is a complete ass.

I will be happy to watch people Cheer Plummer on while The D is laying the smackdown. This team has grown leap and bounds better then since Plummer left. If you compare the roster and coaches and glad that we are approaching a 2nd year of the beginning of the New Card era.

It's the last preseason game he likely won't take a snap.

I'll give him the same greeting he gave the Denver fans last year :D

Why do I get the feeling you're gonna come to town just for a preseason game? :D

...and as for how I'm gonna "greet" Plummer... I'll greet him with a total lack of class.

Honestly I think Jake is a great guy off the field, in the community, with kids, I really respect what he's done to honor Pat Tillman.

I just never felt he was a very good QB and still don't think so. 4th game of the preseason is the worst game because most teams rest their starters.

Yup kinda like boo'ing a QB on his second throw(King) in favor of the QB who got benched (mCCown).

From listening on TV you'd have thought we just benched the great Joe Montana or something. One of the many reasons cards fans are kicked around.

When was a Cards home game on TV?

Please.

you been a fan for a while? Then you do the research.

sucked = untalented = bad = terrible.

Once again it is easy.....you know, forget it. He never said it, YOU WIN!

Sorry for voicing my opinion.

I do not like Jake Plummer, I did not like him when he played here, I didn't like him when he left, and I sure as heck don't like him now.

Make all the little piddlin' excuses you want to sway my opinion but it is not worth the time and effort to back up my post.

I can't believe the Jake Plummer love still on this board. Many I think just post on this board to talk about Jake Plummer, and could care less about the Cardinals.

Strange that out of state fans are frowned upon by some. At least I look at the now, and not the past.

Stupid Plummer.

And yes, he did say that is was nice to "finally play with a support cast" that he doesn't feel it is "all on his shoulders". And actually I agree, THANK GOODNESS it is not all on Plummer's shoulders cause he can carry a thought let alone a football team

Such BS on this board sometimes.

I didnt say you don't have the right but I think you'll look like an ass. ;)

Bit judgemental are we.

I mean ask a question, and when you don't like the answer complain about it.

Great.

I think living in the past and not backing your team makes you look like an ass.

Mr. Plummer. I'd like to you meet Mr's Berry, Okeafor, Dansby and Dockett. These gentlemen will see to it that you will be on your butt at all times so you can enjoy the game while in a sitting position.

Nice lead it to the first person I every connected with online to say it right.

I don't got to boo, or throw poop :D , or do anything negative.

Our D-Line will distribute the pain accordingly.

Peace

I don't care where he plays or how he plays Jake Plummer is a good man. He still contributes over 500,000 a year to PHOENIX Children's Hospital. THANK YOU JAKE FOR "Living in the past"

Nice. Been waiting all thread to break that one out.

Bait and Switch.

I mean if that is the reason you defend the man then say it in the first post. Not the last.

The point would hold more merit if not used as a weapon.

So fi on Jake and his Snake.

He was 1/2 right.

Good one. I was serious with my question though..If Jake bashed members of the Cardinals I missed it. I never heard him do it. If he called out players specifically I agree he was wrong.

I like Jake and always will. It wasn't his fault that after we went to the playoffs we did not resign Brown , Miller or Larry Centers, literaly tearing apart the offensive line, defensive line backers and the best player on the team in Centers. Jake did some amazing things. I will never forget his very firat drive 98 yards for the touchdown. How many games did he never give up and give us achance to win. By the way when he left it was time he left both for him and the team. Our team is better today three coaches latter. And Jake well he is back in the playoffs. Jake gives of himself to children causes and gives 100% on the field. Mnay good memories and I will wear my Plummer Jersey as well.

Jakes a good guy. Not a good qb, but a good guy.

I'll cheer for him.

Jake might not be a great QB, but, he is one of only 31 other guys to hold that job in the world. IMO you have to be good to play in the NFL. You have to be very good to start in the NFL. VERY few teams go all the way. Some never play in the playoffs. Jake has been there twice. One of the reasons Jake is not here today is that managment didn't support his needs. RB ? WR ? O-line? Yes they gave him too much money and choked off everything else to build a stadium.

Hey I love my Cardinals. I own 7 season tickets in section 8. I go and yell my bloody head off for our team no matter how bad they are and they have been bad. But I don't like people booing because they were never picked to play on thier team. You wanna boo you have every right, I personally don't get it.

In Green we trust..By the way give Jake the team we have now with our new line and our WR's IMO we would be playoff bound every year under Green.
