Actually, I think it's a good trade.

Chicago gets rid of Ben Wallace who hasn't done anything for them, and it frees up Noah to play center, which he has been the better center for them this year. Plus they get Gooden, who would play well there as well. Hughes is either the back-up plan to move Hinrich this summer or to S&T Gordon.

Cavs get a defender, rebounder that frees up Z to do his thing. He's always been better when put next to a low post threat. They get a good PG to put next to Lebron and Boobie in West and they get a shooter in Wally.

Sonics get more cap relief in getting rid of Wally's deal. They liked West, but he didn't want to be there. This trade works for them.

Upon thinking about this trade for a bit as a Bulls fan this is what I think.

Hughes and Sefolosha are the same size and Sefolosha has been starting over the last 12 games because of his size. Gordon is listed at 6'3", but he looks a lot smaller. Plus they like Gordon off the bench. I think Hughes is going to start(for 12 million a year he better). I like him over Sefolosha right now at least. I think that Sefolosha will get lost in the shuffle unless Gordon is gone this summer and that is a bummer, since I think he can develop down the road.

I also like the Smith of Gooden swap. Gooden is bigger, stronger and younger. I hope he can be that inside scorer we were looking for. That, I am not sure about yet.

Getting rid of Wallace will allow Noah major minutes to grow and give Gray a chance to get more minutes. That is a big plus. I like the fact that Duhon is still here too, but he is a FA ofter the season, so I wish they could have gotten something decent for him or extended him. For some season I see him going to Phoenix this summer to be Nash's replacement down the road. I would take Duhon over Hinrich any day.

Losing Griffin for the 2 shlubs is a wash IMO.

Overall I think this is a good deal for the Bulls. In a terrible Eastern Conference I think they still can make the playoffs with this lineup.

Bulls:
PG: Hinrich/Duhon(I would swap these 2)/Sefalosha
SG: Hughes/Gordon/Sefalosha
SF: Deng/Nocioni
PF: Gooden/Thomas/Simmons
C: Noah/Gray
Inactives: Curry, Brown, Nichols

Hinrich is not very good. Duhon is a bit worse. And Duhon just missed another practice.
