I have no love for Dallas. Just don't think bragging about one playoff win 8 years ago when your team hasn't had a winning season since is cool.
I gues I don't understand why you don't think that was a meaningful win. It's the ONLY playoff win we've had in over 50 years, but it's not meaningful?

No way we win...

Since 1990, we have played the Cowboys in Dallas 13 times in the regular season and lost them all. Here are the results:

1990: 27-7
1991: 27-7
1992: 30-21
1993: 20-15
1994: 38-3
1995: 34-20
1996: 17-3
1997: 24-6
1998: 38-10
1999: 35-7
2000: 48-7
2001: 17-3
2003: 24-3
That averages out to (roughly) 29-9 loss. So I will go out on a limb and say we lose:

28-10.

So that was the lucky 13(for them).

We're due to beat Dallas, them having a bye after us probably doesn't bode well for us they're not going to look past us.

The key as always is don't turn the ball over, they're not an explosive offense, they've scored less than 17 in four games already, but they do have impressive wins over San Diego and Philly. they play a 3-4, they have a good defense, they're well coached, if you turn the ball over they will win, if you don't the odds are you'll stay in the game because they're not a great offensive team.

They do throw the ball deep quite a bit so our secondary is going to have to be ready for that. I would assume we'll go after Bledsoe.

gotta get to 3 and 4 somehow, someway baby.

If you get after bledose, he'll choke up.

But our pass rush has not been as ferocious as it was last year, for whatever reason.

Berry has got to step it up a notch sun. He's going against a back up right? Flozell is out!

No it's not. Wasn't meaningful to the team which hasn't had a winning record since and won only 9 of their next 35 games. Wasn't meaningful to the owners who continued business as usual. Wasn't meaningful to the coach who was left hanging as a lame duck the next season leading to the disaster that was the 2000 season. Wasn't meaningful to the players who left to seek employment elsewhere, bye Jamir, see ya Larry, adios Lomas, gimme some fries Mark. Wasn't meaningful to the fans as home attendence dropped almost 150,000 only two years later.

The 1997 game was meaningful because it was the game where we, the fans, put an end to Dallas' extra home game in Phoenix.

That playoff win is only meaningful as solace for the die hard Cardinal fan who grasps on to it like a drowing man to a tree branch. And to some that's a really big deal. But not me. Too long ago and too isolated an event. Might as well still be fired up about beating the Cowboys 38-0 on Monday Night Football in 1970.

This is fun are you ready.........
We have only played SEA once this season, where have you been?? I think you want to say....Beat a San Diego Chargers team 28-24, the same SD Chargers team that beat up on Super Bowl Champs NE Pats in NE.
And you are saying that just b/c the niners scored 31 the Cards can do it???
I dont think so, After the 49ers scored 31 points, an opposing team hasnt scored 20 points on us, just to let you know. 4 straight weeks without allowing 20 points. By the way, i just wanted to tell you that if the Cards are as good as you say, wouldnt they be better than 2-4?
Obviously we have the more potent offense and defense, which by the way are both in the top 10. I just want you to look at that clip in my sig, because those are what McCown is going to be throwin all day, especially with our d line, and LB's that love pressuring and sackin QB's(top 5 in sacks in the NFL)
Get ready for it homer, we are at home and there is no way in hell you all will beat us
Just a fun fact by the way(DAL-2-1 at home) ARI-0-2 on the road.
Get ready for a loss

Well we beat the Titans who beat the Ravens who beat the Jets who beat the Bucs who beat the Dolphins who beat the Broncos who beat the Patriots.

Face.
