Wasn't this supposed to be his natural position? I cant remember if he was LT or RT in college.

I agree, I'm very interested to see how he does. Show us something DJ cmon man!

The way I see it, there's not much to lose. You can't be worse than "total absolute suckage" (which is the "Ultimate Suck" and how I would characterize our O-line the last two games).

Good move, didnt even think about that. He was a LT coming out. Still would like to see him move back to RT next year when veldheer comes back.

LOL. He's gonna be butt tomorrow and apologists will be all "What did you expect? He's been practicing at RT all year! Give him time!"

Dude, you almost sound like you want it to happen... and he might not be butt against Atlanta with their defense but we will have a lot to consider because the Falcon offense might have Palmer throwing a lot lol

Except he practiced at LT all last year.

That's not going to matter to the usual suspects. He's practiced at RT since last winter, this was a sudden change, scout team to starter is a huge transition, etc., etc.

We'll see. Whether I want it to happen or not is irrelevant (I hope he succeeds), but Humphries has been butt all year at RT, and posters like CBus have been gaslighting us about it. No reason to think he'll be better at the more difficult position.

Bout time! Im so excited!

This is how it should be. This is how it always shouldve been. DJ Humphries was a LT drafted in the 1st round of the 2015 draft based on his LT play as a LT for the Florida Gators as a LT all through college and all his life, as a LT.

But lets stick him at RT. :moon:. Switching from LT to RT is not no-big-deal. So youve bowled right handed all your life? OK from now on, you bowl left handed. Go get em!

Hes a natural LT. Fast and fluid. Veldheer is a natural RT. Big and hulking.

He will get destroyed at LT for awhile, but thats because hes been brainwashed at RT all this time. Give him some games to return to form, and I think this is an upgrade, longterm.

Fingers crossed would be nice to see humphires be successful at Lt in the NFL in both run and pass block.

I can't sleep.... game of the season pretty much vs falcons win in the wildcard race lose focus on draft... :(

This is pretty much the apocalypse as far as I'm concerned. Humphries to LT?

What's next? Dogs and cats walking hand in hand down the street? :)

Oh dear, sweet, merciful Christ, I hope Palmer has a sweet life insurance policy. Humpty Dumpty is going to protect Palmer's blind side? Has he been measured for a casket yet? lol

First of many

Yeah, 'cause even the human turnstile started a lot there, proving you can absolutely suck and still start.

LOL. He's gonna be butt tomorrow and apologists will be all "What did you expect? He's been practicing at RT all year! Give him time!"

lol Those apologists have already started on this thread, man.

Ohhhhhh my! :shocker:

Another Oline combination move? This has disaster written all over it!!! I hope Palmer has taken out another life insurance policy because this may be the death of him & we know BA ain't gonna change & give the Oline any help & it will be a bloodbath IMO.
