Hurricanes’ Thomas Finnie suspended indefinitely after admitting involvement in lapto

He is one of at least 2 football players at U of M who stole the laptop from another player ( actually the victim is a career ending injured player still on academic scholarship at the U of M ) then turned it over to an accomplice who offered it back to the victim for $1000 . Reulted in an arrest via a sting when the victim agreed to meet and pay.

University of Miami cornerback Thomas Finnie has been suspended indefinitely after surrendering to police Tuesday morning and admitting he was involved in a laptop theft on campus last week.

Finnie, a former standout at Miami Central High, is coming off a sophomore season in which he played in 12 games and made 30 tackles, three pass breakups and one fumble recovery. He started UM’s first six games.

Charged with occupied burglary and grand theft, Finnie was transported to the Dade County Jail by University of Miami police personnel. The UM cornerback was arrested six days after police first arrested first Del’Neco Streeter, 21, of Miami Beach, for attempting to sell the stolen laptop back to its owner for $1,000.

According to Finnie’s arrest affidavit, the 21-year old cornerback entered a nearby dorm room on campus last Tuesday and took the laptop while "there were two human beings [victim] and roommate in the structure."

Boo to your blood oath ..... I just want to see some closure on the whole thing fully expecting the NCAA to be as nuts as they usually are

I also want to see some good recruits landed for the DL and if temple wants to hire d'onofrio that would be a-ok with me as well

The best thing about that story is that apparently not all roommates at the U are human beings.
