I cant take it anymore, the same thing every week. We either cant keep a lead against a good team or we cant get a lead against a bad team. I'm sick of hearin progress, progress is when you win games.

I will not waste another sunday watching this team, i will still follow them and i wont totally abandon them but sundays will not revolve around the cardinals like they used to.

Years like this make me hate sundays and make me wanna rip my cardinal tattoo off my arm. Ive already gone through a cell phone and two remote controls because of the games this year. Frustration is not the word to describe it.

thought you were gone?

Have fun watching every week and getting all excited over a 3-13 team that should be a .500 team. I said i am done from watching them on sunday i never said im done being a cardinals fan or im done on this board.

Green needs to be fired immediately after this game and then the players need to go to OZ and ask for a damn heart. How can YOU watch a team that clearly has given up the season???? I dont get it maybe i am the only one.

Well I can't really blame you, but I'm not going to abandon the Cards. I'm looking forward to the day that the Cardinals are so good, all the snowbirds will be wearing Cardinals gear, instead of Bears and Broncos crap.

Still, I'm relativly a new Cardinals fan (only two years in AZ so far) so maybe it's just they haven't had time to truly murder me just yet.

Like i said in my first post i would never abandon them i just cant put myself through the torment of watching them on sunday, i watched the first half of this game and decided that was enough for one year. I didnt kno one heart could get ripped out so many times.

Are you always a jerk or is that something that you acquired from watching pitiful performances by the Cardinals every week?

This is loss #83 since the playoff win against Dallas. Give the guy a break.

Just gut it out like the rest of us, there's always next week, or next year. You'll feel better by thursday.

thought you were gone?

Dude, seriously, why are you doggin' him?

A) You know he's not gonna be able to go through with it. He's frustrated so he's venting. It's the equivalent of an alcoholic saying he's fed up and he's just not gonna drink anymore. Die hard fans love to think they're in control when everybody knows they're not. It's a sickness. He'll be watching next week. The choice of whether to watch or not is not his own. Don't be mad at him for being in denial.

B) If he didn't love the team, he'd just go grab a Saints jersey and catch the next bandwagon. Instead, he's here threatening not to watch. Did it ever occur to you that he's looking for support from his brothers (i.e. YOU)? He's standing on the ledge and you're telling him to kindly not land on your car. Try to be more sensitive. That's all I'm sayin'.

People that don't care about the team don't come back to the MB and say "I've had it!!" They don't scream "Stop the bandwagon!! I wont off!!" They wait til it slows down a little and sneak off. Or they grab onto another passing bandwagon and hope nobody notices.

Don't be upset with this dude for saying he's had it. Instead, look around and take stock of all the guys that were here saying "Hoorah!" in the preseason and yet haven't been seen in three weeks. Those are the arses you should be aiming for with the doorknob.

Just something to think about... Hang in there, fellas.

I love how holier than thou fans rip on people who obviously feel bad about abandoning this team, and he not even fully abadoning this team.

The poor guy feels guilty about leaving this team, and no longer being able to support the team. Bad enough that he stops by tells everyone he is sorry, and says goodbye.

This team and its organization does nothing but enrages its fans. I have never seen anything like it. You couldn't write up a book about losing your fans base as fast as possible any better than the Cardinals do week in and week out. Year in and year out.

I mean you can support a team who are playing their guts out and trying to win. But when a team just gives up like this one and doesn't even come out to perform on game day then it is hard to support them.

Furthermore, with this organization you can't even say. " We lets think back to the good times" Cause there never have been good times. Lack of hope is not a fun thing.

As sad/embarrassed/disappointed as I am, I will watch this team lose every game remaining this year. The one thing no one can take away from me and the majority of us is our loyalty. It says a lot about a person who can stand through the thick and the thick. GO CARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After today's performance I don't see how you can blame someone for not supporting the team. I was thinking I might have better things to do with my life than watch the Cardinals lose. Sadly I really don't have anything better to do with life.

Agreed, how could anyone rag on somebody for being fed up with this team.

Yeah, I have said that dame thing to people before.

And they always answer: Yeah it is impressive, but not if you are refusing to get off a sinking boat, and not getting out of the way of someone punching you in the face.

Great post. Very perceptive of you. Thank you. I'll throw the good karma back at you and hope Hasselback's injury is not serious.
