I am so sick of hearing about this team being cursed!!

Because good teams are never cursed. Teams that are "disciplined, tough, smart" are not cursed. I've been a Cardinal fan for damn dear 30 years of my life and I am just fed up with the excuses that this team can never win. This "same old Cardinals" excuse that fans, media, and the organization put out year after year is just a garbage excuse for horrible football.

Its time to put the blame right square on the shoulders of the people who create this horrible mess known as Cardinal football (ownership, coaches, and yes the players we all love).

Something is dreadfully wrong with a team that is in the midst of a playoff push and they play the way they played yesterday. I could feel it from the get go. There was a lazy, blank stare in the eyes of many of the players on the sidelines and I told my wife that here we go again, another Carolina game. Yes it would have been great if Rackers had made the kick, but the bottom line is that they still played like crap overall and would have been lucky to win.

Memo to Anquan Boldin: You are no superstar. Go back and watch tapes of 2003 when you played with heart and played like a superstar.

I honestly hate this time of year. I am much happier from January to July when I can enjoy my weekends without the draw of watching these idiots. Sorry to be so sour, but I am sick of this crap.

But it does not hurt in area's of fumbles, drops, penalties, running wrong routes, it has happened at least more then once a game where Warner tries a quick Hitter route or a hot read route on blitzes and Boldin isnt even looking for the ball, just sails right by him or hits him in the back.

Those are all mental errors not physical issues.

I also wonder about the severity of this injury he has. If it is so severe why is he not limited in practice every week, instead he is taking full participation. So either the coaches arent handling him right and not giving him the rest he needs during the week, or the injury is not as severe as they keep telling us.

His whole attitude, demeanor, apprears to have changed since he came back from the injury. Something's afoot. Something other than his hip injury. The only thing I can think of is that he might have a run in with Wiz on some issue having to do with his injury, or how Wiz is running this team.

Then again, what the hell do I know. I'll answer that for you --- nothing.

He is by far my favorite player (as he is for many of you), but right now I have lost a certain amount of confidence in the guy being all there on gamedays.

I consider myself lucky in an odd way that my football team is cursed, they're still fun to watch, hell you can't write stuff like we saw yesterday.

My coworkers came in and the guy that sits next to me was amazed, KC got the game on local tv and he watched just cause of my exasperated Mondays, the highs and lows of this season, wanted to see for himself.

He claims he's hooked now, you have to root for them, they're the Charlie Browns of the world.

I still like them but they are what they are and saying there is no such thing as curses works for almost anything except for someone who's witnessed this team for multi decades.

I am a Cardinal baseball fan, I don't expect them to win either, but they do, it's not me, or us, it's the football Cardinals, it's not our fault.

You can bet that many players and every coach that has come to Arizona had the same attitude you do. Yet everyone one of them lost. I don't think there is a more positive thinking human being than Dave McGinnis. He was the worst of the lot.

Very well put. I think I am right with you in my role as a fan; I go to the games, I cheer and yell, and even right when I can almost think that they have it sewn up, they find a way to give the game away; a delay of game and subsequent miss on a chip shot field goal, or a pass play on the four yard line with a QB that hasn't handled a blitz well in about 6 years, to quote an infamous poster, "it is simply amazing"

I saw that as well and was wondering to myself...how in the hell can those guys not be up for this game? We were 5-5 and about to kick the crap out of the lowly 49er's who lost eight in a row. We get up a td on our first possesion, but our guys had "blank faces". WTH!!! Go for the jugular!!! Bring some passion!!!

The only reasoning I can possibly come up with to explain those faces is I guess this organization just can't put on a "winning" face. From the owners to the players. They just don't see how to win.

I can explain it. They got word from the NFL right before kickoff that the league had changed its mind and decided it was more profitable for Seattle to win the division and so the new script called for the Cards to lose to the 49ers.

The Tampa Bay game really looked like they Cards had been told they weren't supposed to win. Guys were shying away from tackles and moving at 3/4 speed.
It just looked really weird.

When he dives for first downs rather than deliver a blow...he is defintley showing signs of "self-preserving" for his next contrat. So in a sense...he is "self-motivated". Good receiver though. I'm not sure if he gets away with that if he was playing for another NFL team.
