Regardless of his age or a loss next week, Kurt will be the QB in 2009. The Cards would get massacered in the media if he is let go. Let the argueing begin!!!

Tonights win ensures Warner in the HOF IMO. I already thought he was there but taking the ARIZONA CARDINALS to an NFC Champ. game cements it for sure.

dude just took the Cardinals... THE CARDINALS to the brink of the Super Bowl. You can put him in the New New Testament at this point as far as I'm concerned because he's the second coming of Jesus right now IMO.

No doubt!

A bunch of other Cardinals are making Rod Graves' job very difficult this offseason. Antonio Smith had another big play, Karlos Dansby made several sure tackles, Elton Brown played well in the fourth quarter in the jumbo package.

Vegas, baby, yeah!
If we make it to the Superbowl and for sure if we win it I believe Kurt retires.

:yeahthat:

If we lost the NFC game, maybe he comes back. However, he's said several times that when Q was injured, he (Warner) became aware that he could be as well.

I think KW goes out on top. I think he retires at the end of the season.

The only one who will decide whether Kurt comes back next year is Kurt.

Kurt would be nuts not to capitalize on his success this year. He will be back in my opinion.

He claims $ isn't a big thing for him. I've got to believe going out on top he might feel differently towards tho.

Disagree 100%. At this point, with every win Kurt inches closer cementing his HOF status. Thus with each win the more likely it is he hangs them up.

He will be back. Maybe just one year but he will be back. The guy has plenty left in the tank.
If he's treated the same way as some of the posters on the forum I can't blame him for leaving/retiring.

The QB takes the brunt from the fans when the team does bad. Make no mistake, the Cardinal's front office and coaches knows what they have in Kurt.

I think you almost have to bring him back at this point. NFC Championship game are you kidding me? It almost doesn't seem real.

What about Matt Leinart tho? Would he be ok with waiting longer than he should? He should be a starter next year too.

Trust me. The Cardinal's will bring back Kurt after going this far. If Matt is able to beat him out next year so be it. Kurt doesn't want to leave Arizona and will not bust the bank with a new contract.

Would being beat out by Matt Leinart tarnish what he's accomplished this year?

Kurt takes us to the Superbowl and he is heading to the HOF. Matt's future is another topic. Kurt was huge tonight and I am thrilled we have him.

Kurt is a Hall of Famer even before this game. If he hangs them up after this season ok. But he should be brought back if he wants to keep playing and battle Matt for the job. However Kurt should be named starter out of the gate with the QB job, his to lose. He is simply the best Qb the franchise has had to date and he should be afforded the chance to return with these Wr's if he wants. This team will not be an underdog next season. Going to be great!!! Go Iggles!!! Go Cards!!!
