Jokingly or not, the only legit way to tank is to trade all the old ass OGs for young ass talent, talent being the key word. When this is done correctly, the growing pains come with some nice draft picks, and that killer piece to the puzzle if you can draft/trade properly. Look at Portland, had the genuine bad record with genuine youth on the squad, if they had gone with my boy (Kevin Durant) and kept a couple pieces....man.
That's all Haley's comet chit though, it comes when it comes, you can't get a whole to team to suck on purpose, and if you just try and coach badly enough to make the team lose....you aint gonna be around for the draft picks. But people will still talk the crazy talk, and I will hope they are joking.
