Obviously my grading out the Cardinals draft with a "C" is way off the mark. USA Today this morning gave them a "B+". Glad I am dumb in estimate of what happened. I do not want to be stupid but then I want the Cardinals to do well so I will live with my blunder (I hope ). The recap when talking about our drafting a WR said we may trade Boldin. At least I agreed on that assessment. There may not be enough balls on this team for both Fitz and Boldin?

Grading drafts the day after is stupid.

Most of the major papers and sports magazines do it. I think we all look forward to it. How many of us can remember a draft grade from 2-5 years ago? Creates interest and talk which is what the media wants. The draft will be analyzed over and over for the next week. No one is interested in a draft analysis from last year or the year before.

John h, one place you were right and continue to be right is we need more RB help still.

The guy we drafted had one good year and is not a burner. Yes, he has upside and I'm pleased to have him. We need another prospect and don't seem to have a UFA RB to sign.

Maybe, just maybe, Steve Baylark can help.

Can't fix everything in one year so I'm okay with a hole at RB for now. If Leinart doesn't blossom in year three, we may be forced to draft a QB early next year and again RB may be a continuing trouble spot.

There must be a team with a good RB that needs a good receiver like Boldin that could be a trade partner. It seems N.O. had an abundance of RB's? If Boldin is going to be a problem over money it is only a matter of time until we lose him one way or the other so why not find a RB before James goes down and we have to have one. If we cannot run the ball this year we are going to get our QB injured as our opposition will load up to stop the pass and ignore the run. Clearly, Arrington is not an every down RB and our other RB has shown nothing. Our new rookie RB is a total unknown as to how he will do in the NL but is no break away runner. He looks like 3 yds and a cloud of dust type. I still think a RB was our primary need and we passed on Mendenhall who would seem to fill our needs. He was good enough for Pittsburgh to go get him. What we have probably done is shorten the football life of Edge as he is older and does not need to carry the ball 25 times a game to get the best out of him. What is done is done but I hope we are still looking for a RB by one of the FA's or by trade.

I did hear or read that Kurt Warner feels he can still be a starter and would not be happy to be designated the backup before the season even started. He might prefer to retire. Word I heard was that Whiz said told him he would be competing for the starting job? If we were to lose Warner that could be total disaster as we sure do not know how Leinart is going to work out. He is still basically a rookie.

He's from WALDORF, Skorp. THE Waldorf - in Charles County, Maryland.

That's guaranteed Pro Bowl, man. He can't fail. I mean, we're talking WALDORF.

If we trade Boldin for someone's backup runningback, I'll go picket somewhere. That would be abysmal. Sure, Edge didn't look fantastic last year, but even if he got injured, I'd rather throw the ball every single down than lose Boldin. He's the heart of our team. Edge is just fine for now.

Kurt has said that he'd still like to be a starter, but most of his talk about the difficulties of being a backup were part of signing an extension to lessen his cap hit. It's Leinart's job to lose at the moment, but this may be Kurt's last year with the team. I have total faith in Matt, and we can find a backup next year in FA.
