I dont think I ever have, well, I know I never have experienced anything like this before.. The week started off good.. We got the win and SBXLIII invite and then it s was fun.. But as everyday goes by, it feels like someone is slowly tightening my muscles.. Now a week away and its really messing with me.. I cant imagine what kinda wreck Imma be the nite before the game.. Is anyone else experiencing this? Maybe I should type in my symptoms to WEB MD.. Ill just type in the symptoms as "Cardinals"+"Super Bowl" and see what kinda results that gets.. :D

I'm just in a state of bliss. I was more carzed out of my mind last week leading up to the Eagles game. The feeling now is just overwhelming bliss. I find myself clapping out of nowhere, then think... why the hell am I clapping? And then I realize it's because the Cardinals are in the Super Bowl... then I start clapping harder.

people look at me strange when this happens. But that's nothing new.

it's just so bizarre... even going to the movies last night, seeing like ten Cardinals jersies on people in my theater... on a friday night. that NEVER happens. I mean, that NEVER happens... then seeing "Go Cards" written on people's cars and the flags... i just keep clapping and smiling.

there's no need to be tense Gee. We're winning the Super Bowl and that's all there is to it. Just enjoy the ride my friend.

I find myself thinking about every lil thing about the game.. Even down to what are they gonna do with that stupid ship in the endzone? Are they taking it out for the game?

I'm with both you guys... I go to bed and wake up thinking about this game... I do believe that we will prevail - cheese says...
One thing that just blows me away is how Steeler fans simply blow us off. I can't believe how overly confident they are. I know Tomlin won't let that happen to his team, but I can't wait to stick it to their fans!!!!

I am a wreck. Everyday I wake up and I tell myself I am going to take a brake today. So far that has not happened. I have read more articles on the Cardinals this week than I have in 40 years combined. I am loving every minute of it. I just hope I have something left by next Sunday.

Yep, this experience is off the hook. I was at the grocery store today and the cashier and bagger congratulated me. I guess since I've worn Cardinals shirts every single Saturday, no matter the time of year, for as long as I've shopped there. My coworkers sought me out all week to talk Cardinals because I'm the only diehard they know. I just don't know what to say in response. Terms like "awesome" and "unbelievable" just aren't cutting it for me.

And, every single time I log on to the computer I can find fresh articles on our team. I thought the two week delay was going to kill me, but I'm actually savoring every second of it.

agreed. almost everyday the CEO of my company pokes his head in my door and yells, "GO CARDS! KICK SOME STEELER ASS!"

the fat neighbor sisters are from pittsburgh and saw my cardinals car flag and came outta their house chanting "Stee-lers, stee-lers" - i just calmly raised my arm with my index finger extended . . . number 1, baby, #1!

everyone and anyone who knows me has been congratulating me, via text, phone calls, facebook, etc. it's hilarious.

we are winning this bitch! WE ARE WINNING THIS BITCH!!!

Well.. I went to Web MD and typed in the symptoms.. The answer it gave back was kinda vague and didnt really pinpoint anything specifically.. It said "You have either become a victim of nuculear fallout or are frozen solid" .. Well that didnt help much.. :D

You've described my emotions and actions perfectly over the last week with your posts. I just keep smiling for no reason like I amthe only one who knows what's going on. I keep screaming WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! at the top of my lungs for no good reason and yelling "Go Cardinals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" everywhere I go. I have smiled myself to sleep everynight since the regular season was over.

Just wanted to thank you for letting me know I wasn't alone in my lunacy. :D

Man, I went from being super excited and euphoric to being super excited and anxious. Everytime I talk about it I get a little more antsy. Can't imagine what it must feel like for players.

I'm still very calm.

Whatever happens happens and I'm very proud of this team and the way they've battled.

I just want them to focus and do their prep work and relax on game day, I hope they don't get warmed up too early and all and just go out and play the game.

I want to say I do not know many Steeler fans that are taking this as a sure win, far from it.
I LOVE this feeling! All other teams are on the backburner and you get almost constant team attention. I realize that might be new to you, and I am happy you get to experience it.

Yeah I know I'm a bundle of nerves and have to watch some of the past few games that I DVR'd because there's not even a Penguins game on until Wed. SIGH...waiting sucks!

Someone told me today that I seemed incredibly happy and I must be up to something sneaky. If they only knew !

And strangers coming up to me and talking just because I have my Cards hat on... it's crazy !

I'm with Conrad on this...I'm savoring it....

I have given little thought to the SuperBowls' outcome. Since I'm in Charleston, S.C. I'm not seeing a "sea of red" when I venture out. BUT I find myself telling people that drift into my circle about the Cards. Sample: THEM: How ya' doing? ME: Doin' GREAT. The Cardinals are in Super Bowl! They just smile. It's ALL GOOD! :D Being a Cardinal fan has changed dramatically. Next Sunday won't change that. To me, WINNING the Super Bowl is the cherry on top of the sundae. The sundae itself is already delicious!

GO CARDS! SHOCK THE WORLD!! WE BELIEVE!!!:D

are you really that surprised? we've won ZERO championships and have been the worst franchise in the history of sport and yet, we're convinced we're gonna win. They're the best franchise in the league (or tied for it) and they just went won the Super Bowl two years ago... and are playing the worst franchise in pro sports. Considering that our confidence is sky high as Cardinals fans, I can't blame Steelers fan for being even more confident.

I texted the same thing to my two best friends (one who used to be the Phoenix Jinx but he broke that at the 2001 World Series, the other who is living out in North Carolina who's friends at thebar apparently gave him a ice-bucket shower after the Eagles game)... they simply texted back "I know what you mean... I know what you mean"... and "you're not alone".

I watched the Eagle game again today.

I still cheered and clapped on evry td.
I still yelled, "GO EDGE" when he ran the ball.
And I cried when Adrian Wilson was interviewed on the field after the game.

I am in a state of euphoria. I go to bed thinking about the Cards and I wake up thinking about the Cards.

This is going to be a wild week. EVERYBODY will know the Cardinals by kickoff. It's about time.

As a Steeler fan it is not the same for you, You have not had to deal with the crap we have had to put up with for many, many years. But for us Cards Fans this is amazing I actually cannot stop thinking about the Cards, I'm like a complete addict, this time is going by so slow. Its funny everyone who knows me comes and talks Cards with me, Last game my Phone would not stop ringing, from every onecalling to congratulate me.
It will be amazing when the Superbowl actually starts, WOW!!!!!

For what it's worth....

I was too young to appreciate our first 4 SB's - so our loss to the Cowboys in 95 was my first real SB experience, so I know what you're going to go through.
