Johnson's agent has ONE first round pick to negotiate for.

Pace's agent has ONE first round pick to negotiate for.

Quan's agent has FOUR first rounders to worry about...and Quan.

Although I must admit that as along as we have Pace and Boldin sign in time for camp that would please me plenty! I dont see Johnson as a priority JMHO!

I guess you and the Cardinals share different opinions on the matter, else they would have drafted Boldin in the first and Bryant in the second.

I find it increasingly hilarious that the constant love affair with Boldin continues to heat up. I mean, really, if he were as good as all you make out, why weren't we all so pumped about him BEFORE the draft. Why wasn't he a first rounder? Why wasn't he the best WR in the draft? Because he's not that good.

He was a good value pick in the 2nd round. That's how the talk here STARTED about Boldin. Then throngs of silly folks decided to turn that into Boldin being a God. Laughable.

We need to start camp with positive morale for the organization, and that means no holdouts. This clearly falls on Graves's shoulders. It's his time to perform. Just like we hold the players and coach up for scrutiny once the season starts, Graves's turn under the microscope comes now. He always talks about the organization changing its ways of doing things. Well, it's time to walk the walk now. Get the picks signed.

I want Boldin signed with Pace because that is the more realistic outcome given Boldin theoretically should be easier to sign as a 2nd rounder. All the Boldin is God stuff was over the top but you have to admit pretty damn funny sometimes.

I agree that morale is important. but like 11, said, its important to the performance of these guys to be in camp from day one.

we need these guys to contribute this year. I think if these guys hold out longer than a week, it puts the season in serious jepardey.

Besides that, everyone knows that it's the Bidwill's who go on vacation in July (and don't allow any contracts to be signed until they get back).

Just wait for the inevitable irrational explanation for why we don't sign our draft picks: that the Bidwills won't sign the first round draft picks until the TV money comes in.

Thought I'd say it first.

Well they don't. It may have nothing to do with the TV money, but they don't. They also don't sign the first round pick until after the second round of beers are popped open on Labor Day, or until after all their grandkids have finished their back to school shopping. The latter two may have as much to do with the signing as the TV money, but they are all equally true.

Point granted on your thought that he should be easier to sign.

Still, I never thought any of the Boldin stuff was funny. Silly and childish, which I don't mind at times, but also pointless and irrelevant.

It was the "highlight" that showed him ripping off a UofMiami DB's helmet that caused all of this. But, you gotta admit, that sure gets the blood going.
