I HOPE Arte Moreno is part of the new ownership!! :)

First thing Moreno did when he bought the Angels was lower some ticket prices and lower concession prices at Angels Stadium. It resulted in better attendance as he was hoping!! He has also made other changes. He has an Ed Koch approach of taking fans complaints and suggestions in stride at games. His approach is the customer (fan) comes first. The Angels are also doing well playing this year with better crowd support and ownership support. There have been reports he may win the ownership award in his first year as owner, which is very rare in the ownership circles. I would love for him to be part owner of this team, with being eventual owner. He fits the bill as being an out of state investor!!

Why would he be pissed? It's business, man. He knows the D'Backs were JC's baby.

Anyways, Moreno walked into the perfect situation with the Angels. It's his fingerprint on that franchise.

That would be quite a surprise since Jordan wouldn't get control of the team.

Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Tiger Woods were guys who were thrown into rumors but I would really doubt it.

The AZ Republic is saying ownership is from OUT OF STATE!! That's why I posted my hope Arte was part of that scenario!
