So what you're saying is that BA has absolutely no confidence on his kicker. That's not good.

No, that is not accurate because no coach is ever confident in a fifty yard kick unless they have to and given the game situation it would be stupid to risk that field position with the lead they had... I actually agree with BA on that decision

And how did it eventually work out? The if you have no confidence in your kicker, then punt. Instead they still got decent field position and ended up scoring.

New Orleans was up like 45-10 on Detroit in the 3rd and it was down to a 1 score game. It's the NFL, it happens all the time. Teams pass every play and the defense goes to soft zones, for the most part.

So, those blaming Arians and the coaching staff in the 2nd half, do they not get any credit for the 31-0 lead? Just wondering?

This issue should be adressed, but I'm not really concerned. Very seldom such 31-0 leads lead to a 50-0. The Seahawks did it to us 5 or so years ago.

Such a big lead is really tricky. You start trying different things on offense, rest your stud players who maybe aren't 100% healthy (PP21), get cute on defense. The Bucs may not be the best team, but they are a proud team with great spirit. Most teams would've given up themselves before halfime.

On offense we finally have an identiy with a healthy OL and AP running downhill, opening up the play action game that Arians loves so much. On defense we aren't quite there yet. Run defense is really solid for the most part, but we should really be better in 3rd & long situations. Reddick has looked promising and should continue to grow, also Buc looked much healthier. If our 3rd down defense improves, along with our new-found ability to run on offense and to stop the run on defense, we will be tough for anybody to beat.
