I know it's early, but....

Robbie Alomar...time to hang 'em up...the oxygen tank you're dragging behind you is slowing you down and turning routine plays into nail-biters....Enter Matt Kata. His bad defense is better than your good defense, and that's saying a lot.

Anyone seen Shea Hillenbrand? Anybody?

Fins, I love ya, but you are not a leadoff hitter. In fact, you are quickly making me forget Matty Pop-ups. Here's a tip, leadoff hitters typically work the count to start the game, this upsets the rythmn of the pitcher...give it a try...I bet you'll be surprised...

RJ, your best days are behind you, and hitters no longer fear you. Sadly, Webbie is really the ace of this staff. You'll win your share of games, but you are now just a 3.50-4.50 ERA pitcher. Without run support, it could get ugly quickly.

Danny B, what can I say, your occasional timely hitting doesn't hide your atrocius fielding. No one gives me less confidence gloving a ball than you. By the way, lose the glove snap after the catch, you ain't that good.

Letting Miggie go was a huge faux-pas. Period.

This team won the WS by working pitchers counts early and getting to their bullpens by the 6th...how can this be completely ignored? Somehow I get the impression this was a leftover Showalter gameplan that was slowly eliminated by Brenly

Brenly suffers from Paul Westphal/Suns syndrome...wait until the opponent makes a run, catches up, goes ahead a few, then call a timeout...I know he isn't out there pitching, but lordy, how many walks, hit batters, wild pitches do you need to see before maybe, just maybe, we need to think about maybe getting someone up?

Oh yeah, here's a tip Brenly, when a bad call is made, don't stand at the top of the dugout and take a minute or two to decide if you want to go and fight a call...make it look like you're really pissed and go after it....lately you look like Jerry C has puppet strings attached to you...for help, see video of Lou Pinella, Earl Weaver, etc.

Brent Mayne, I apologize, I made fun of you because of your age...who'dda thunk you'd end up being the best so far this season..

Gonzo, you're shoulder is hurting more than you're letting on...it's showing up in your at-bats now. You're having a hard time extending. Wise up and ask for the move to 1st and you might make it thru the season

Just my two cents worth, flame away...

or Richie Sexson for that matter.

Take away that walk off homer and he's been pretty quiet thus far.

NavyVet, I'm with you on every one of your complaints.

The scary thing is we don't have the option to play "small ball" because we don't have much speed beyond Danny Bautista so it's hard to manufacture cheap runs.

I think it is a little too early to be making these comments.

Ok, so you need more time. I can understand it. Looking at this team, all aspects are hard to ignore.

This team is going nowhere as fast as it can. I have seen no positives. Not in spring training and not now.

One thing I have seen, is a slew of starting pitchers all over the league who are doing well. The point, those pitchers were our future starting rotation. We are always giving up our young players for a quick fix.

I have some hope....

What really pisses me off is that as of today we have seen no return on the Curt Schilling trade...everybody is hurt. Those guys could have really turned around our fortune
