The Cardinal brass has been watching so much tape of LeFors,the QB from Louisville,that they have fallen in love with the Growl on the Louisville Cardinal.

I dunno, I'd perfer a sleek minimalized bird. With no pupil. Something fierce but not cartoony. People may mock a cardinal as a mascot (whatever it started out as it's a bird now) but they've obviously never been attacked by an angry mother cardinal just becuase you wanted a fresh omelete. I had scratches and bruises for days.

haha i still remeber the cardinals advertisement that had plummer at a zoo talking to a bunch of kids saying how fierce the cardinal was and to look in his eyes cause the little guy has alot of heart....
