Let Dallas have Wallace. I don't think Wallace would enjoy guarding Amare any more than any of the other Dallas 4/5s would. The only thing that would concern me is if Dallas were acquiring the other Wallace -- Rasheed.

Once again gaddabout has a direct hit. Its Rasheed PLUS Ben Wallace that makes the pistons interior defense so nasty. Its a team thing, Ben Wallace does not have the footspeed to guard Amare from the elbow, period. Ben also appears to be getting slower with age(32?). Rasheed might be the best help defender(other than KG) at 7' in the NBA.

Didn't Orlando get Danny Manning and Pat Garrity and a pick for Penny? Then we stole that pick back to get Amare.

No. That pick was protected so what really happened was the Suns got back the pick they used for Zarko. Doesn't looke quite as good that though.
