It's hard to tell who's going to be good from year to year, look at Cleveland last year, but i like the way the sched sets up for the Cards. You have the eight division games so there's nothing you can do about them. But, of their remaning 8 games, other than NE, their hardest games are at home in NY,Minn and Dallas. In fact, they have, what i think is a relatively easy road schedule. The Jets and Carolina look to be down,NE may already have everything locked up,and the Cards should have won in Was last year.Their toughest non-division game is in Philly. Who knows how they'll be at that point in the season. I don't think they'll win all 3,but they have a pretty easy go of it on the road out of the gate. All they have to do is finish the games off this year and they win at SF and Was. The Jets ,it's tough to tell what you'll get out from them. If the Cards can take care of business at home, i think you're looking at best case 12-4 and worst case 8-8. I predict 10-6 based on what i see should be 4 "sure"(i know nothing is a sure thing) wins at home in SF,Stl,Mia,and Buff while only two "sure" losses on the road in Sea and Philly. I kept NE out of there because we may see Matt Cassell throwing to Chad Jackson in that game. They go 6-4 in the remaining 10 games and win the division by a game over Sea.

Obviously you don't understand how much more flights, hotels, rental cars and green fees cost in Phoenix in December than they do in Sept. and October.

At least this year I can fly in on Monday and miss the NASCAR crowds.

I guess that could be good for me because i don't get to go to every home game like you. It looks like i'm planning on coming out for the Buffalo game.I've got something going this fall where every other weekend i'll have to be at work, which kind of sucks, and Buffalo/Minn looks like the only homes game that i'd be able to make. I really wanted to get to the Carolina game as well but that's not going to happen. I have to make it out for at least one game just to drink some free beer when Cason gets drafted 32nd or lower :D.

Most are reading too much into the schedule. The Cards are laid out, now time to plan an attack. Alot of teams have injuries that harm their season. Some teams have so many leave that they don't regroup.

Skins. New Head Couch
Seahags. Holmgren's last year, hopefully a locker split up.
Cowgirls. TO is due to start his BS again.
NE. Due to start falling, can't be on top forever.
Philly. Can Mcnabb stay healthy?

I like it too. It is much easier in the first half, eventhough we are on the road. 3 december home games will be huge for us.

As long as Mcnabb doesn't break his leg again I'm confident we can beat the Eagles.

If the Cards don't make the playoffs, it will be because of our defense, not the schedule.

done.

Unless we get a speed back that isn't afraid of getting tackled, and if we can't execute the play action, I see a middle of the road offensive team.

Discuss.

Warner hates the playaction. We hardly ever used it once he was starting, and he does nothing to sell it.

It'll be interesting to see the full offense more next year. Leinart is excellent at selling the PA.

Leinart is the starting QB for now. :)

Yes, but I am assuming that Leinart plays the year.

If Warner has to play, then we become a 65% passing team.

Eh, talking about how bad or good our schedule is remains moot right now anyway. Most of the time the easy schedules turn out to be uber-hard, and the hard schedules are never as bad as was first believed. I'm not too concerned.

"We" haven't had a decent running attack to make play action truly effective. The only consistently effective offense last season was the no-huddle. Once the offense got to the red-zone though, it was very, very effective. But there were too many occasions when it bogged down just outside field goal range.

Which is why I threw in a speed back into the equation. If Leinart is the starter, and if we don't have a good running attack, (and then good play action) we will have just an average offense. Unless Leinart is injured, I don't know if Warner will see action.

Join. If they lose the first one to SF, the schedule becomes much harder. If they beat SF, and lose to Miami, the schedule is even tougher.
