Our top 3 picks are violent. Monti decided to say forget the offense, we are gonna give JG a QB wrecking defense. The rest of the draft basically played out the same. After defense heavy FA, we doubled down.

With a defense that played WAY over its head most games last year with lesser talent, this should be a catalyst for a BIG jump for the defense this year.

I love watching us score, but I am absolutely smitten with defense. It's the reason I go to games. The energy, the intensity, the noise, and the adrenaline of defense absolutely is my viagra. As a basketball coach, I'm defensive oriented as well, so this draft really made me smile.

Now we have to coach em up. I'm still worried on the Oline but assume Hernandez is coming back. And we still need a WR who can burn and catch.

But LFG defense, let's make everyone hate seeing us on the schedule and hire extra trainers after playing us.

Clamp down, Red Sea!

i was totally serious about doing a punk cardinals vest - i collect vintage levis vests and jackets - have all the spikes and the know how - we've just never had a team tough enough to warrant one and it's always still hot af when our season ends

so ive searched and searched but haven't found many tough cardinals graphics much less murderous - i need a shirt - preferably vintage probably black - logo has to be small enough to fit on the back - ive searched the birdgang graphics too

lmk if anyone has any ideas por favor, here's a few my wife and i made

Love this.

Can recommend going to AC/DC concerts. It’s like opening a door to a room of people types that have not been seen since the 90’s

Murder mindset? Did we draft OJ Simpson and Ray Caruth?
Yeah OP wishes Aaron Hernandez was still available.

Are you that big of a redditor or do you really think when Gannon and Rallis talks about "violence" 100 times he might actually mean murder?

"I play like they are trying to take food away from my family. It is not going to happen." -Walter Nolen

Gannon on Nolen's violence: "He played extremely hard every snap, which is rare for his size. He is a 1000% a Cardinal."

Called the prototype CB. Very "physical."

Our 3rd round pick DE Jordan Burch had a 40 yard return on a designed fake punt run.

He is an athletic freak of nature that can play anywhere on the line.

Newsflash, football is violent. People get hurt.

Also "murder" in this context probably means something akin to Monti "nailing the draft."

If Cardinals managed to get Skattebo they might have replaced Suns as the favorite team in the state.

It was almost worth it based on the fact it would get more AZ fans in the seats and get us a homefield advantage back.

You need a punk rock dog and Cardinal to coexist together forming a bond. Maybe add some spacey punk like Sonic Youth.

Big fan of how we handled it. There seemed to be a real emphasis on drafting the best player available while also conveniently filling a lot of holes.

IMO, bulking up the defense should be the priority. Kyler either is the guy or he isn't, making a need pick for a mid round "speed" receiver isn't something I cared about at all.

To win in the playoffs you either need a great quarterback or a great defense... and even as jaded as I am with Kyler, I think he's far better than the crop in this year's draft (maybe other than Ward). So, build up the D, this board has lamented our terrible D-line for years and after this offseason it has potential to be a huge strength.

It's going to be a violent competition on the depth chart too.

Good young players like Stills are suddenly going to have to fight just to get on the field for a back up rep.

This defensive line set up to be the best since the 2008 group that had Dockett/Campbell/Antonio Smith/Gabe Watson

This defense is going to be fun to watch. Teams will get frustrated...more reason to have a dual threat at rb, qb on O. MHJ will come thru. Take on contact, short window. If anyone including the qb looks like they're not in; want no part of contact...warn em, then sit em if they want to play pattie cake, or not get hit.

I hear you, lots of defensive talent onboard now. Still would have loved to kept Kyler white. His play style fits in well with some of the new hires.

I believe he is still available. I just don’t think they feel he is an upgrade.

what do hippies and john gannon have in common? we're all about the rotation

we don't have multiple starters at each position on murderer's row but we have a lot of bad intentions - offensive linemen won't get to take plays off - much the opposite - constant violence - fresh bodies who all want to stay in the game and the only way to do that is through violence

rookies that wanna come in and take over - vets that can't let that happen - the perfect combination resulting in a performance based environment - performance being violence

it's the word we heard most over the weekend - pick gets made - google the name - and there's some local writer calling our new player violent - did monti using a key word search to find these guys?

I wanted Kyler to have another receiver, but I mostly really like this draft. In fact, I was really happy with every pick but some of the day three picks (I like the Simon pick).
