I think that, for some dumb reason, sports media people feel obliged to act cynically about the coverage of the NFL. (Maybe it's because the gig is so good, that they're embarrassed to admit that "it beats working for a living.")

All you hear from the mainstream media is how Media Day is such a burden on the players because the same questions get asked over and over along with an assortment of other weird questions.

All I know is - as a fan who does not live in the AZ media market - it was Christmas, Birthdays and the Last Day of School all wrapped up in one glorious package.

Highlights of NFL Networks' Media Day coverage:

- Deon's (Hey! Mr. B) interview of Bill Bidwill.

- DRC doing a standing back flip and then hurdling over the top of a 6-foot upright teammate.

- Antrel's interview.

- Alan Branch "dancing with the stars."

- Deon and Q (What was that deal along the sidelines...?)

- The broad array of players and coaches interviewed - ranging from KW, Edge, Q, Fitz, B-Train, A-Dub, DRC, Morey, Graham, Matt, Wiz, Todd H, Russ G etc.

We got to meet members of the Cardinal family up close and all at once.

It was the best.

(Only thing that can top it would be a Super Bowl win and victory rally).

Amen, Brother. I felt like a kid in a candy store.

I pray that we shock the world. Then we can all get aggravated over the summer hearing how we are the worst team to ever win a Super Bowl and then watch the pundits pick the 49ers to win the West.:)

Couldn't agree more...what a treat. Loved Deion's "I got this thing with Diddy, can I borrow that jacket?"....classic....Antrel was cool too.....

...I know a lot of America is "bored" by this matchup, but I think this game is going to be one for the ages....

I too enjoyed every second. I'd like to know if Larry Sr. asked Larry Jr. any questions. Pretty sure I saw Fitz's dad in one shot.

didn't ESPN used to cover media day? I couldn't find it anywhere, any time. I'm assuming the Nfl Network which .5 percent of the populations gets had exclusive rights and coverage, right?

a good football fan who doesn't live in the home market ventures out into the wild on sunday, wearing it's teams colors and fights amongst the lions and tiger and bears to get the best seat in the house so that their scream can bounce directly off the best TV in the bar!
