Minnesota is going to beat Seattle. Yep, bank it. Bet every penny you can find this week on that one.

Washington is going to smoke Green Bay. Rob liquor stores, hold signs by the freeway, bet every penny on Washington.

Jan 16, we get a rematch with Minny.

I would have thought the above was completely ridiculous even just a couple weeks ago, but Minnesota showed some maturity and stones last night going into GB and winning the division. I still think Seattle beats them, but it wouldn't so completely shock me now to see Minny win.

Have to agree. Nobody picked Minnesota that I know of to win the division either. I wouldn't be shocked even though I think Seattle will win.

I was listening to the radio today and the Seattle Seahawks are only 11-14 in early am games under Pete Carroll.... Only 8-9 since they've been considered a really good team... The broadcast on NFL network called it a legitimate concern that this team has problems getting up for a.m. games. In the forecast in Minnesota is for 6° and 15 mile an hour winds ouch...

man, as much as I'd love for the team to host the NFC Title game (which I'd get to go to) and once and for all prove they're better then Seattle, it would be freaking awesome to see their faces if they're eliminated in the first round of the playoffs.

I agree but that would be hardly worth it come kickoff time in Carolina.

Not that we can't beat them there sure we can it's just possible it could be raining or something bad when we play and if our offense fizzles then we'd be sitting in a very bad spot they have a stout run defense and they run the ball.

We don't want to play them outdoors if we can avoid it.

Just watch. That oline is going to crumble in front that crowd and in those elements. Minny isn't going to play nothing but straight up and then pack it in at half time like we did yesterday.

In fact, I'm not even sure the game will be all that close. Minny will win though, I rarely get this confident about outcomes of games and I am very rarely wrong when I am THIS sure about a game.

It was raining and cold the last time we beat Carolina in the playoffs. And, Warner had the rep of being a poor QB in those conditions.

Tell us you have inside info that Skippy has been exposed to some horrible tropical disease that will cause his arm to rot off and I'm in.

A Minnesota victory would all but close the door on us hosting the NFC Championship game. While there's a good chance Seattle can win in Carolina, the Green Bay/Washington winner will get destroyed there IMO.

I don't care who we have to play or where. Yeah, I really think we are that good. Anything can happen in one game, but I think we blitz through the NFC playoffs.

If Washington comes here, I'm not going to write them off so easily. They are eerily like a certain team in the past that we are all familiar with. They won a weak division with a 9-7 record with an accurate QB named Kirk (ok not exact but close enough) who took over for a first round QB who was thought by many to be a QBOTF. Ok that's about as much as I could come up with but in any case, we should be the last franchise that gets cocky about being a #2 seed with a 9-7 team rolling in here. We all know how that can turn out.

How about amebic dysentery? That's should be sufficiently horrible.... Wouldn't cause his arm to fall off, but another part of his anatomy would suffer ill effects... :D

Except Kirk is not a Superbowl MVP like Kurt is.;)

Seattle wont get past Vikings

I am picking the Vikes

I think Seattle has two intangibles working against it: the memory of a cake walk earlier in the year, and, coming off of a cake walk this past week.

The only team that I see in the wildcard week that might get an easy win is the Skins , I say that because the Pack is 4 and 6 in their last 10 games , they appear to have fallen and can't get up !!!

Will that work? I'm pretty sure all he drinks is Skippy's Special Magic Water. Which is probably filtered. Or prayed over. Or something.
