I need to Wii....help me

Ok, so I did my free Wii offers and I got a Wii for a price I am comfortable with, roughly $9.73. I don't count the offers I did for Netflix (wanted to go back to them) and Entertainment Weekly (love the mag and read it all the time) because both I was planning on subscribing to. So that leaves a teeth whitener and a french language course cd, with shipping on both coming to the amount above.

I did my offers, sent in my coupons and waited. Just last week I see my gift is shipping. YAY!!! Wii for the kids (this is the family gift from Santa). No, it is a check. They had no Wii in stock so they sent a check for $300. Nice, since it will cover the Wii and the sports addon with the extra controller (wii play?).


HOWEVER...I can't find Wii in stock anywhere. Please help me keep an eye out for Wii in stock so I can grab one of these before I stress out before xmas. I wonder if there will be wii sales on Black Friday? Any rumors?

Thanks for the extra eyes. Wal Mart is "supposed" to be getting 30 in, and they have my name and number to call when they arrive. I doubted it, but today I went in and behind the counter on their tackboard I saw a note to call me when they came in. I felt good about that.

I tend to agree, but have a friend that is buying these things and reselling them on ebay and he always knows where to find them, so thought I would share.

You'd better be prepared to line up. There will be people camped out.

The closest Toys R Us had 30 people camping out as early as 6am to get one of the 27 that they sold on Sunday.

Called on my way home yesterday and asked wal mart if they had their wii in yet...they said they had five left. I'm pissed because they didn't call me. Very pissed. They say they are in the Garden Center display.

I haul ass since I'm about ten minutes away...they won't hold one for me..

I run into garden center...literally, I run.

Display is empty. MUFFING WALMART!!

I ask the guy at the garden center checkout if they are all gone and he says that electronics came and grabbed the last ones and took them to their section.

I run to electronics, literally.

I get there and a lady is buying a wii. I ask the counter cooch if there are any more.

YES!! Two left. She says I was called because her boss wrote LM by my name. I got no call and definitely no message...I even check to see they had my number correct. They did. At this point, I don't care that they damn near screwed me.

I left the store and they had 1 wii left.
