Ted Ginn is pure trash and a waste of money. Sucks as a receiver and is idiotic as a returner.

They need to get Niklas either off special teams or teach him how to block, 2 of those bad KO returns he missed the block that got Ginn tackled.

But the punt return where he fair caught with tons of room what a stupid play. had a huge catch at the end ofthe half though set up that FG

He sucked on kickoff returns tonight - yes. However, he did make a KEY 3rd down grab to move the chains where we eventually scored.

He did make a key catch, yes. I seem to remember Jaron Brown being super clutch in those situations last year though too. Obviously, in the heat of the game, I'm gonna be a bit emotional. His contributions on ST's were downright atrocious and in no way warrant the 4 mil we're giving him this year.

Ginn did not have good returns today (really bad, actually).. but there were defenders at the 15 yard line when he left the end zone. That is the bigger issue. Bad blocking on special teams. I would rather see him down it and get a guaranteed 20 at this point.

This.

He shouldn't have taken it out from 6 yards deep the first time. The second time was just terrible blocking. You want a guy like Ginn to take it out from 1 yard deep. The one where he ran sideways at the 10 yard line was both terrible blocking and bad returning.

WTF do guys feel a need to put "JR" or "III" on their jersey's?

I mean.. If your Dad is also on the team, then I guess it makes sense.

Would you like some A-1 sauce to go with your crow?

I know it was just one play that may turn out to be an aberration, but sometimes it is good to get one wrong.

Crow? lol

That's like saying D-wreck completely redeemed himself last week.

Ginn has wheels, and that play was a game changer, no doubt.. But that TD was more about the Giants giving up because they thought he was stuffed.

Maybe if he can up his average by about 10 yards for the next couple of weeks, I'll start looking up crow recipes.

Cardsfanmd, good thing you didn't work for my last boss, who had a saying, "You stand there and look like an idiot, but then you open your mouth, and erase all doubt." (Smiley Face)

Your boss stole that from Abraham Lincoln (I believe)...as close as I can get it from memory: "Better to be silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth & remove all doubt".

Now I gotta look it up & see if I was anywhere near close on the originator & the quote, lol.

edit: Apparently the origin is unknown; it's been attributed to Lincoln, Twain, and others.

He just needs better blocking. Alot of the times he hasn't had a chance to even move after the catch. He didn't have any room on that one either, but got lucky they first guy that got to him missed the tackle.
