I sure hope there will be 55,000 there for opening day.

After finally getting 2 tickets and talking to many brokers online/phone about this game it will be a sell-out.

Ticket brokers are the some of the biggest scum bags around. Most people don't know that there are easy ways to get tickets through pre-orders and other means. It always amazed me that people would go to these dirtballs instead of the regular ticket office when the game is not even sold out.

All of them are the same. Talking on the cell phone all the time, wearing sunglasses indoors to look slick, and simply ripping people off left and right by flat out lying to them.

I used to work in the ticket office before the broadcast department and these guys would drive me nuts. I see the same guys at the D-Backs game and when they ask If I need tickets, I give them a piece of my mind.

Aren't there a lot of Vikings fans out there too. It sure looked that way on TV?

Yeah there are. I was in town last year, and had planned on going to the last two games (Panthers/Vikes). For the Carolina game there was no traffic, I got a $15 ticket from a scalper, and just sat whereever the action was. For the Minny there was no parking within a mile of SDS, and I couldn't even get a ticket for under 80 bucks.

This year I will definetly ask for some tix in July for my birthday.

What I could never understand are the guys who are always outside SDS with the "I need tickets" signs when there are 40,000 seats for sale at the ticket office, including many seats inside the 30's?

Jim O,
Maybe after this weekends FanFest you can get us a good idea of just how many seats have sold for this game so far and what the potential is for a sell-out. Talking sell-outs at SDS in September is unheard of for us Cards fans. Pretty exciting though...

Have you tried calling the ticket office? If you look now you can still get good seats.

Of all of the brokers online (about 20 of them I checked) the cheapest was:
www.team-one-tickets.com which is a company based in Arizona.
They have about 40 tickets available for the Pats vs. Cards game. Some of their seats are very expensive but compared to other brokers (who are offering the same seats as these seats all go into a national database) they were about $25-40 cheaper per ticket.

Go Cards/ America!

Hey Cardinal fans somebody is FOS. Single game seats for the Cards do not go on sale until late June or early July.

The only way anyone would already have seats for the Pats opener is if they bought a Flex Pack or season tickets.

The email I got from the ticket office said the tentative date for single game seats is July 17. I hope I get to go to this one.

55K fans at the home opener would be disgraceful. I don't care how much of an improvement it is upon last year or the year before, it's still pathetic.

It's good to hear that you brought your good humor back with you from the hinterlands. Are you still hurting over the Kabongo thing?
