I think BA tanked this game

listen I backed Warner...it was obvious...and he proved to be pretty good...I hated Whiz and he proved to suck....that is where I stand...other coaches and decisions... are moot.....they all had bad flaws...BA so far has none.

Green brought Warner here and then Drafted Lienart...Warner got hurt and Lienart played well his rookie season. But WHen Whiz got here.....Warner finsished the 2nd half of the season..with the 2nd best QB stats in the NFL...and still started Lienart the next year. That is dumb. Green didn't have any positives from Warner yet...so his decision wasn't stupid! Whiz's was...

ANd you are wrong!!!! He started Lienart and announced him...until Lienart threw 3 int's against the raiders!!!! And he started Warner...who only took us to the Super Bowl......Lienart was named starter after Warner won 5 games and threw for 300 yards a game. the end of the season.

It doesn't matter what Whiz announced. 2008 was an open competition and Kurt has always verified that. If you want to hate Whiz then great but don't hate him for the Warner situation. Everyone and their mother wanted Leinart to start in 08' and luckily Whiz went the other way.

Your stating it as a fact, and it's really not. It's very painful to me, it's like being flicked in the forehead every time I read posts like that. I'm glad you love the team, who knows, maybe you get so upset because you love the team even more than me... who knows? Personally, after years of suckage, I enjoy looking to my left, and looking to my right, and knowing that them fans on both sides of me are hardcore Cards fan, because we aint got no other reason to be there. Either way I'll be on my way now and hopefully we can just let this "discussion" fade away. I will try and chill, the ignore button should help out for those awesome nights when I pound them brewskies, so have a good one vato, and go Cards.

My thoughts are this , Drew had some mental/shaky moments early in the game , and BA looked (big picture) past this game to the other games ahead . We need Drew to go to Atlanta with some semblance of confidence that he can handle the Falcons . I saw Drew in over his head against the champs at their house , and if BA called aggressive , pushing Drew to try and win the game , I think that BA sensed it would end in a nightmare for Drew. BA must coach around not having Carson , I can't blame him for trying to keep Drew in a state of mind to be coached for Atlanta . I thought BA went Ropey-Dope to get past this game to the rest of the season (WISE DECISION) .

When I posted the above , I honestly thought BA/More would be able to salvage Stanton's confidence . I WAS WRONG !!!!
I now believe that if we win another game this season , someone other than Drew Stanton will be playing the QB position .
It seems crazy that I have to say this while we still have one of the best records in the NFL . This situation could only happen to OUR BELOVED CARDINAL'S .
